Wanted to share my final version of a quest priest I used to climb to legend during the expansion. I'm currently sitting at 53-23, and it does very well in most match ups. I'll post a deck tracker image below. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Thanks and GL
EDIT / UPDATE:
The deck is still doing very well but I wanted to share a slight variation that might help a bit more against certain decks (specifically druid and DH)
+2 Nerubian Vizer
+1 Theotar
-2 Venomous Scorpid
-1 Undying Disciple
Adding the 2 Vizers helps to proc Grave Digging (since we are taking out an Undying Disciple) while Theo is pretty self explanatory (helps steal win conditions).
is this deck still working?
I literally posted the deck tracker stats...
Based on your comment history you seem to have some personal issues. I wasn't even going to respond but you essentially are calling me a liar. The stats are there, with a rather large sample size.
Straight GARBAGE. 70% .... lol...yea right
Good list! Priest is in such a good spot lately, its awesome! I got Legend this season using a Quest Priest with no Theo, no Amulet, no Identity Theft!!! Cleane the Scene, SW Ruin, just own so many decks. So i used them with minions for pressure that include some steal and some discover mechanics. And of course Plaguespreader is MVP vs DH and Druid!!
Thanx for sharing your list.
Gets bullied by early aggro
Clean the Scene is a must in Quest Priest, imo.
Yeah that's why I've been messing around with Soul Seeker.. I'm still kinda up in the air about it though. It's pretty amazing vs quest DH and good vs druid, but can miss super hard in other match ups.
I think having both Plaguespreader and Soul Seeker in 1 deck is a bit too much. You might get some off-balance. The card is also bit expensive with 5 mana.
Works perfectly against DR Rogues but has a hard time against Deniathrus decks still. DH also is a difficult battle.
Had nothing but problems from DR rogues, they pump to early and our clear is to late
My experience is that the silences, and board clears work like a charm. You just need to time correctly when to actually clear or silence. This might a bit of experience though.
...?
It helps clear boards.
why netherdrake? it has no synergy with any other card
If you mean what kind of minion do you want to use him on, I generally use him to disrupt and try to pull out something big from my opponent. For example if druid casts Miracle Growth, I'll generally bounce the growth back and try to pull out a key combo piece. Also the deck has The Light it Burns so it's relatively safe to use voljin and cheaply remove whatever is pulled out. He's also good if something gets buffed or vs deathrattle rogue that has stored multiple ghouls on a minion, it really just depends. As far as bouncing the minions in this deck, Hexxen and Astalor are really the only ones worthwhile.. maybe Mutanus.
If you mean something to replace Voljin because you don't want to use him, a very straightforward option would be Taelan for a more consistent quest.
what do you want to swap with Shadow Hunter Vol'jin?
Very cool dude! Thanks for checking it out.
Hey, was surprised noone posted a quest priest deck yet, seems to be working well at least for me :) Made a little showcase of the deck if anyone wants to see it in action!
