This is an awesome card if you have the right cards in your deck and play it right. For instance, if you have played Amara, and copied it with Barista Lynchen, you will have an extra Amara in your hand now. So, suppose next turn both minions have survived, then if you use Shadow Hunter Vol'jin to swap Barista Lynchen with a minion in yoiur hand it might swap Barista Lynchen for Amara you just got from Barista Lynchen last turn. If you now play Barista Lynchen, you will get Shadow Hunter Vol'Jin and 2 Amara's to your hand, while at the same time, you have 2 Amara's on the board to protect you from enemy attacks!
There's a fucking typo in the card's text.
Nice catch.
When they print the next batch of cards they will probably fix it. Better keep your copy so you can sell it online a few years from now.
That's a limited edition. ;)
Oh wait...
When you use it in this regard, to show possession, “its” is the correct way to write it.
It is. « Owners » is not.
Your point, Biomass? Also, there is a difference between "it's" (which is basically "it is") and "its" (which is a pronoun). If you are on about the word "owner's", that is actually done correct.
Also, I have been looking up on your comments at noticed that your grammar is not particularly that good, so you might want to pay attention to yours instead of judging other people on theirs and embarrassing yourself.
They fixed it but it was “owners”, hence my post and you didn’t even read the previous answers before answering, so no embarrassment here dear moron.
*'Dere be a fucking typo in dis card text.
I put it in my wild Razakus and it feels really good. Basically second dirty rat :)
For those who are saying this card is a bad idea, 5 matches against warlock, 4 stolen ticketus from my opponent hand, good morning.
I mean, you got options. I assume it just fails when the hand has no minions.
Gotta love those 10 mana Scrapyard Colossuson turn 5. Good job Blizzard.
cool free card, and flexible effect, you can either sap an opponent's minion or replace one of yours for a better one if it fits your deck strategy
I can't say if it's busted or not until full core set and expansion reveal, let's wait and see how reliable it will be
Card set, not "expansion". It's called a set...
It's a potential combo card... but Maly is going from STD, replaced by a new version that doesn't have ridiculous spell damage. Would only really work in classes that can produce tokens (basically minionless deck bar this/target etc., with draw/tutors); something like sham/pal for the HP, or druid from spells. Maybe lock, with galakrond stuff? In Wild, you've got Ancestor's call for Sham, which is just better; you've got no burn for paladin, and thus if it's of use in Wild, it's going to be in druid. Probably won't have an impact in combo, I think, unless Blizz throw combo some love with another maly-esque card (which, tbh, they probably won't. Maly's wrecked design space for Blizz for years and, speaking as a combo player, should have gone HoF years ago), and even then it'll be standard. Could be a high cost, school specific spelldam card, though, so still some hope.
Very much depends on if there's anything worth reducing to 5 mana at the cost of severe deckbuilding limitations and no battlecry as to if it's a useful combo card. Against combo, it's probably quite nasty. Heavily disruptive if there's enough combo around to warrant running it; it's an understatted 5-drop that could backfire a lot of the time when used offensively (combare to rat, who, being cheaper, could be paired with removal earlier, as well as being overstatted and taunt). Doubt we'll see it much, honestly, but depends on meta.
People are worried about the mana cheat aspect of it, but compared to the similar High Abbess Alura, arranging your hand to only have expensive minions seems quite a bit more difficult than not having cheap spells in your deck, and the payoff is one strong minion rather than an entire board. Judging by Ysera the Dreamer and Malygos the Spellweaver the Hearthstone team seems to want to move away from large minions with residual effects, further limiting the craziness this card is capable of.
I personally like this card because it gives you so many options to deal with niche situations. You can use it to bounce your minion, or your opponent's minion, and unlike Kidnapper it's actually a meaningful choice which side's minion to bounce. You can use it to cheat a few mana, or against a combo deck it can serve as a Dirty Rat in a pinch.
This is the card we are all getting for free. Just log in Hearthstone and enjoy!
