I tried to make the OTK combo work with Instructor Fireheart + 2x Dwarven Archaeologist. The main problem here is the RNG and the turn time cap. So on average you only get 15-20 face damage. Sometimes you are also unlucky and get too many 3+ mana cost card while discovering = No mana left.

Fixing this problem with including Alexstraza and Jepetto Joybuzz. You basically win if you got Alexstraza with 1 Mana + the rest of the combo. Even if Alex was drawn previously you just need one more turn to win.

Everything else is basic control.

Why Groundskeeper? It is just too good and destroys aggro decks. You may have some bad luck with Jepetto Joybuzz but the basic strategy against control decks where you need the OTK combo is just to wait with playing Jepetto Joybuzz.


Any control deck:
Keep The Fist of Ra-den or Sphere, Hagatha's Scheme, Far Sight+ Dwarven Archaeologist so it does not pollute the draw pool for Jepetto Joybuzz. It is also ok to keep Jepetto Joybuzz if u already have some board control cards.

Any rush deck [Rogue, DH, Hunter]:
Easy win most of the times. Ignore the combo and just win with enough control. Keep :
- Groundskeeper
- Primordial Studies
- Lightning Storm
- Hagatha's Scheme
- Serpentshrine Portal

Mage:
Just chill (hah!) and win with combo.

Priest:
Save your resources. Keep Sphere of Sapience, Far SightThe Fist of Ra-den and so on. Easy win most of the time.

Druid:
Keep Devolving Missiles, Plague of Murlocs, Hagatha's Scheme, The Fist of Ra-den, maybe an Earthquake. Finish with combo after clearing the board multiple times. The game will be tough if you don't draw enough board control early.

Paladin:
Win chances are 50/50 here. Keep Primordial Studies, Devolving Missiles, Plague of Murlocs, Hex, Serpentshrine Portal.

Wait for him to buff his minions before using cards like Devolving Missiles, Plague of Murlocs, Hex. You win if u can stall enough time to get your combo.

Control / Bomb Warrior:
This is probably the toughest one and almost always a lose since the armor makes it difficult to kill him. Use Serpentshrine Portal and Primordial Studies to pressure early and hope to draw your combo early. Most of my games end in fatique against pure control without bombs.


You can replace any control spell with some other spell if you want. Just keep Earthquake, Hagatha's Scheme, Hex.

It's even possible to add Galakrond, the Tempest in this deck. Use 1x Corrupt Elementalist + 2x Invocation of Frost + 2x [deck]Dragons's Pack[/deck]. Replace cards like Lightning Storm.


Honorable mentions:
- Octosari - This could work if you have too many draw problems.
