Here's my GVG Control Priest.
It has been meta-tuned to prey on Paladins that have become very popular on the ladder due to Strifecro's "WinStreakadin" deck.
It features a lot of board clear. By a lot, I do mean A WHOLE FREAKIN' LOT. It can sweep the board turn after turn free of those pesky tokens. There's a total of 8 in all, one of them being reusable:
2 Circle of Killing, 2 Pyromancer, 2 Holy Nova, 1 Light Bomb and 1 Baron Geddon. (Try to save Lightbomb for doctor boom and friends. It's the most card-efficient way of killing him.)
Just when the Pally player thinks he has played around Nova and it's safe to play muster.... Burnnn!
All the board clearing naturally paves the way for Ragnaros to hit face.
2 Mind Control seals the deal versus other Control decks.
Mulligan Guide:
Most Aggro Decks: Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Wild Pyromancer, Holy Smite
Control Warrior: Dark Cultist, IBM+Circle, Power Word Shield
Troggzor kicked out for Harrison. A Meta call due to the prevalence of weapons.
Since everyone and their mother is using Black Knight to kill Sludge Belcher, I decided not to put any taunts in my deck.
Reasoning:
A deck with zero taunts in today's meta is good.
A deck with 1-2 taunts is bad.
A deck with 3 or more taunts is good.
Time will tell if that's the right decision.
Took out Loatheb for Troggzor.
I have a feeling Troggzor's "always on" effect will be more relevant than Loatheb's one-time effect.
He's just under BGH range, and I can certainly use the extra 3/5 bodies when my opponent tries to abuse spare parts or simply just uses hard removal spells on Troggz.
