Important: If you try this deck, please comment below and share your thoughts so we can make the deck better together!
Gameplan:
(0. Your opponent will mulligan wrongly because they will not expect you to play aggro Druid, fools!)
1. Flood the board with a bunch of shit. (Look at the decklist, it will probably not be that hard.)
2.1 Dodge all boardclears and kill your opponent with Roar/Branching.
2.2 Your opponent clears your goblin bombs and he/she dies anyways!
3. Queue again ASAP cause in the early days of the expansion everybody will play suboptimal (really bad) decks, so you can farm them.
4. Enjoy your (not) deserved Legend rank!
Edit 1. (08.07. day of the release)
Problem with the deck: Runs out of gas too quickly.
Possible other cards to include: Saronite Chain Gang and Fungalmancer in the first place, Tarr Creeper and Leeroy are possible replacements.
Possible cards to remove: ???
Until more comments on what cards to swap the decklist will remain untuched.
You may try the previous builds of token druid using 8/8 Bittertide Hydra for beatdown mid game if they get to clear your tokens.
I hesitated playing Living Mana against a priest, decided what the hell go for it...and wouldn't you know it he silenced all my treants immediately, costing me 5 mana crystals.
So I should have gone with my instincts, and I warn you all not to play against mass silence classes :P
Do you think putting one Tending Tauren in the deck make sense?
Got some more experience with this deck archetype (I run quite a different list than this one here). The deck is giving me a good winrate (around 65%) at rank 3-5. At this moment I'm experimenting with Knife Jugglers (and if the first games are representative they're keepers).
I run 1 Sea Giant, it's amazing and is a fantastic target for Floop to copy. I removed one Tending Tauren for it. If it keeps performing this well I might add another one.
I run one Living Mana and one Soul of the Forest atm.
This deck eats all other aggressive decks for breakfast, the only deck that sometimes gets a win in is Healing Zoolock if they have some ridiculous start with Happy Ghoul or Doubling Imp.
I've been playing a mech token druid deck as well and stumbled upon yours to see how I can optimize it.
I'll help you as well and will suggest you some cards that do well for me:
Mecharoo is a solid 1 drop and I also like Replicating Menace in this deck as it can attach to your bombs, attack into a minion as if it has charge and you suddenly have 3 tokens (if it dies); I have been experimenting with 1 or 2 copies and I like it so far. If only my 4 mana slot wasn't so crowded.
I take a less aggressive approach with Fungalmancer & Tending Tauren; this way I don't run out of steam soon. These cards have been performing really well for me. Because I have these 2 cards I also run Floop as they are great things to replicate.
I don't run Living Mana but Soul of the Forest; inot sure about this as I haven't had enough experience yet to say how good it is in the deck (I also tend to not draw my SoF's so it's hard to get experience that way...)
can you share your list please? Thanks.
Play 12-8 on Rank 3 with it. On my opinion Druid of the Swarm is the weakest card in the deck, if you want to add other cards.
On my opinion adding a silence makes sense.
Void ripper might also be a consideration.
Floop's Glorious Gloop does not help as you don't need mana at all.
Nah, I simply dont have them :), but really any good aggro deck needs some Fungalmancer
Feel like silence is gonna win some games if you throw it in. Take out landscaping?
Void ripper? Great with Crypt Lord, and (your) Tar creeper if you tun it. Sometimes good vs spreading plague. a lot of other uses comes up. Blowinh up your bombs is pretty cute!
Removed the x2 Giggling Inventor for x2 Fungalmancer for more aggression.
Great deck!
Thanks for the feedback! Do you think Giggling Inventor is too defensive and weak for the deck?
Giggling Inventor is the hero of the deck based on my 20 games which i played with it.
I'm very happy to hear it! Good luck with the climbing!
thank you for the cheap deck
I'm a free2play player so I know how hard it is to make an okay deck in the early days of a new expansion, this is why I tried to make the deck fairly cheap. Good luck with it!
Good deck working as it should be.Sometimes you have full board of 1-0 atack minions and 0 baffs, that's the only bad situation
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately since Mark of Y'Shaarj and Mark of the Lotus rotated out you don't have that much buffs, this is why Aggro Druid lost its consistency thus its popularity. Board flooding was always easier than taking advantage of it. When I will update the deck the first card that I'm gonna add is Fungalmancer, because it works exactly like a spell buff, you only want to play it if you have minions (with fungal you only need 2 so it is easier to land than a spell buff) it just has a 2/2 body, but you hardly ever play it alone.
Thanks for the fun deck. Can you make a wild version? Anything you would include other than the Marks?
I'm certainly not a a wild expert but other than the 2 marks, I would probably include Haunted Creeper and Nerubian Egg, they are great cards in token decks.
