Combo: King Togwaggle + Preparation + Myra's Unstable Element
Note: This is a meme deck first and foremost*
The plan was to originally outlast the opponent with Kingsbane when they get our deck with cards that practically do nothing but I realised that they could still use the King's Ransom to take the Kingsbane and instantly win. So I added Azalina Soulthief to make it so you can steal their King's Ransom and play it. But this literally gets countered by any cards that draw one card in the same turn that costs 5 mana or less. (And Warlock just wins I guess)
The other thing I thought of was to use 2 Baleful Banker + Shadow Reflection and go infinite that way but that's basically overload 6 a turn to summon 3 2/2s.
So now I'm just waiting to see for the new cards that will just scrap this deck.
Clever idea. I really hope some variant of this is viable, I love Toggers.
You guys are probably overlooking the Azalina in the deck, doesn’t completely protect the combo but could help it work. Looks like a very fun meme deck. Will definitely give it a try! Its things like this that make me excited to see what other crazy shit we can do in the boomsday project.
Cant wait to play this deck in Wild (ofc with some replacements).
Kingsbane does not keep its buffs when stolen or copied. This whole thread is a mess.
Actually.. it keeps now. Since 20 July and before it in the announcing changelogs. But i assume that you can already know it.
12.0 Game Mechanics Update
With this update, card copies will retain enchantments in the following scenarios.
Now (since 20 July) you can copy kingsbane with all modifications on with Archbishop Benedictus, Thoughtsteal, Mind Vision, Azalina Soulthief, King Togwaggle and e.t.c.
But heropower of Valeera the Hollow can only give unmodified copyes of cards, included kingsbane (1-3).
add Hemet
If your opponent is smart, he'll wait with swapping the decks until the kingsbane is in it. It's hard to avoid that, as you'd also like to avoid all the fatigue damage you'r otherwise take.
Combo = 5 mana opponent uses King's Ransom to take your heavily buffed Kingsbane and you have no way of getting it back. Not to mention as well if you haven't had all your Spiders from Fal'dorei Strider you can give your opponent even more opportunity to gain a heap of tempo. It's a meme combo but sadly not without its flaws. You need to run Azalina Soulthief because this combo is almost the same as the Druid combo because they aren't going to King's Ransom an empty deck. Fatigue cards you could include maybe 1x Baleful Banker to work with Valeera and any decent card so as an example Fal'dorei Strider + Baleful Banker on the Strider then Baleful Banker copy on Baleful Banker or any other value card. Can't survive fatigue for very long without something like that still runs the risk of them taking the deck back but if we have Azalina we can take back the fatigue deck.
.
Good idea tho u need a big ass weapon and have value with ur shineys cause when the weapon breaks opponent will swap decks and u lose ur kingsbane
u have to be ahead onboard. u both start fatigueing.
I think this deck needs some draw (Sprint for example) You first need to draw your deck and then play King Togwaggle + Preparation + Myra's Unstable Element to empty his deck too and then survive using the Valeera the Hollow + Kingsbane anti-mill combo. Of course since you are going infinite you don't have to give him a completely empty deck but still it's good to be as close to that as possible.
I'd recommend replacing Fal'Dori or Blinkfox with Sprint and Capt. Greenskin + Doomerang, you need a lot more card draw to make Kingsbane consistent enough. A damn good idea tho!
And what do you do about your opponent swapping decks back?
why would they swap back an empty deck?
pick up the weapon
You'd probably have the weapon in your hand or equipped when you Togwaggle, but with the Deathknight you would always have one Kingsbane in your deck. I'd probably add Coldlight Oracle and make it a Wild Mill Rogue to fill their hand then Togwaggle to deny them swapping decks back.
