***I will keep this deck updated whenever i can***

Welcome to my  Control Spell druid

Introduction

First of all,let me clear things,i made this deck in the first week of the expansion and then reached rank 6 from 18 after a bit of effort before all the cube decks were even a thing.

Never managed to publish this deck untill these days because of time but you will be surprised on how it works.
I am not expecting it to be a tier 1 but i had success with it and i wanted to share it with other players. So i am sorry if it is not the best take in terms of time/results.

This deck has a particular function to stall the game untill you can reach the turn in which you will drop your final combo.
There is only one Ultimate Infestation be cause depending on how the match goes, you might need to use Nourish as a card draw and not as a ramp card.

But let's go straight to the point.

Cards presentation

 Lesser Jasper Spellstone
This card has an insane value after Oaken Summons or Branching Paths since with 1 mana you will be able to deal up to 6 damage to an enemy minion.

Ironwood Golem
3/6 taunt. if pulled out with Oaken Summons it will have an insane value, obliging opponent to deal with it instead going face because of armor.

Arcane Tyrant
With alle the 5+ mana spells in this deck you wont have problems placing him after a spell, possibly after a board wipe.

Starfall
Probably one of the most underrated cards in the game. This has an insane value when you have to deal with aggro decks, especially paladins with the 1/1 horde placed on the board or after a Spreading Plague to finish off the clearing. In the worst scenario possible, you can use it even to kill one 5/5 on board and then place an Arcane Tyrant.

Sea Giant
Everyone know this card, its has been a thing from when zoo came out and it is still played from alot of players. This card in this deck can be used for board presence after aSpreading Plague or alltogether with the last combo depending on the matchup.

Spreading Plague
This card doesnt even need a consideration, it has been a must add in every druid deck i created. Just remember to not waste it for 2 or 3 minions on the board.

Malfurion the Pestilent
3 armor each turn / 3 attack. Must have, and in many cases you will have to play it as soon as you get it in your hand. (Hero power stacks up the Lesser Jasper Spellstone)

Nourish
Everyone know this card. In this deck it is used as a card draw, sometimes with a very bad start you can use it for getting mana at turn 4+coin or just at turn 5. But it cannot be replaced for obvious reasons.

 GENERAL STRATEGY

-Play this deck as a control. There is nothing more valuable in the game right now then Oaken Summons and Branching Paths in term of armor gaining and protection.
You want to stall the game as much as you can, protecting board and yourself with spells and draws, sharpening your hand with Arcane Tyrant when needed and using your clears without wasting them.
-Use Nourish for draws if you have a good starting hand with Jade Blossom and Wild Growth, do not be greedy, this is not a ramp deck for the most part, sure, you can take an advantage from it, but you will need answers most of times.

 ENDING GAME

Ixlid, Fungal Lord + Arcane Giantx2 + Carnivorous Cube (on Arcane Giant) + Sea Giant(optional)

Possible replacements

Sadly, you dont want to remove or add some 1 (to 4) mana drops because ofOaken Summons and Ironwood Golem, but you can consider removing the Sea Giant for another spell or The Lich King or another tech card of your choice.

Yogg-Saron, Hope's End is a must add for all that want to use this as a meme deck for fun :)

Starting hands

ALWAYS KEEP (in order):
Wild Growth
Oaken Summons
Wrath
Jade Blossom

ALWAYS DISCARD

Ixlid, Fungal Lord
Sea Giant
Kun the Forgotten King
Arcane Giant
Carnivorous Cube

Thank you for vieweing my deck, i wish you the best with it!
