I don't understand this. There was so much nonsense talk about removing silence and they give a class that can resummon minions with cheap costs a card that not only negates the entire enemy's board, it costs 1 and can also be traded. This is why I'm losing my patience with Hearthstone, the lack of transparency and nonsensical decisions like this just makes me think that people who currently design the game don't even play it. Who thought it was a good idea and why?
I don't want to sound bitter but I lost so many Arena runs recently because of this. What's the point of setting a board, buffing, planning, making decisions just to be completely wiped by a card that costs (1) and with a rarity that will make it pop up numerous times in Arena picks. It feels like all the efforts put into deckbuilding and careful planning means nothing when faced with this monstrosity.
Don't know what else to say, this is really disappointing.
its not MAYBE,its a clearly superior version of mass dispel, costing 3 mana less and tradable is better than draw depending on the situation, often times you would use mass dispel just for the draw, and you lost the potentialy strong future dispel,in this cards case, you draw and you dont just throw away the dispel,it comes back
Okay but why would Xyrella want to trade this away?
I don't understand this card. Their redesign of the Classic set was expressly designed to get rid of silence because they deemed it too powerful. They removed spellbreaker. They removed other cheap silences outside of the inefficient owl. Mass Dispel in particular was pulled from Priest because silence was too strong, as was Silence.
And then they add this? This ridiculously strong effect? What is wrong with them?
They dont wanted to give every class to an efficient silence. Silence priest is a old theme.
One that they intentionally cut as being too powerful. Silence and Mass Dispel were removed from the base set and replaced with Focused Will which has a penalty when used to silence enemies. They rotated Consume Magic from DH also.
The design direction was clear - no more cheap silences. And then this, the cheapest of cheap silences and tradeable for when you don't need it. It's like they have different people making decisions from expansion to expansion.
they removed those priest silences knowing this was coming, they did this before with other cards
this shouldnt be classified as a Holy spell, this is a HOLY FCK spell!
people overestimate how useful silence can be, especially nowdays that 90% of minions have rush and dont stay on the board, so i dont think it will played
The fact that it is Tradeable makes it actually pretty good, maybe even better then Mass Dispel.
This card is insane, I don't think it's underestimated
"maybe even better than Mass Dispel"...................
Remember Mass Dispel? This is him now, feel old yet?
WTF is this ?!
1 MANA - Silence all enemy minions.
Looks broken to me..
