Hey Camfourek! I think the comparison you're making is not right. The problem with BrokeBack Combo is not the 14 dmg. It's the possibility to extend this damage by the presence of more minions. If Druid has 1 minion on board, it's 14+2+Minion Atack. That being said, with any minion on board, the Druid can easily do 20+dmg out of nowhere. That's what need to be nerfed. Makes the class unpredictable and tough to play against, because you need to make sure to stay at 14+health and clear the board EVERY TURN. And with the presence of so many sticky minions (shredder, raptor, stealth shade), it's very frustating to play against. As a priest player, it's very common for me vs druid to control the board, at 20+ health, and just because I can't remove a single minion I'm dead. And let's not talk about DOUBLE Savage Roar+FoN, with causes 22 damage, more added by minions. No other class has this damage potential with only 2 cards.
making savage roar 2 mana +1 attack would be stupid since Power of the wild exists.
2 mana spell for +1 damage? Why not instead use a 2 mana Raid Leader? I would think the 2/2 body would be more than worth the 1 attack for your hero that you'd be losing out on.
Totally agree. I really think it's pretty balanced if they make it a 4 mana with the same effect except the treants can't attack the enemy hero and the treants won't die at the end of the turn, basically multi-shot on crack.
Also, I'm kinda sad that they won't change the old card, instead, they'll just throw old cards into the wild format.
The Black Night likes this.
C'thun cards are out of arena? Or just C'thun (therefore making their ability irrelevant?)
Anyway, this one is a solid pick for arena, even without C'thun. Too bad it won't be used.
C'Thun cards are out of arena.

It has become apparent to me that Blizzard is making druid the choice for C'Thun decks. The reason for this is the combo we be nerfed to be unplayable, at least as a unfair finisher, so they are making a solid archetype for druids after the patch. I'm very happy to see Blizzard making a solid effort to make all the classes playable post patch. This card is very fitting to a control style deck, and I fully expect for it to see play.
I don't understand how Blizzard does there rarity with their cards. This card is F***ing nuts without the C'Thun buff and with it makes it a common? They really do just suck at deciding what's common and what's rare. Its like they spin a wheel and jut guess this S***. C'Thun druid is a duh NOW and with the ramp they already have ... getting C'Thun out on your opponents turn 7 is just stupid and insane IMO.
The C'Thun cards are mostly common because they want the C'Thun deck to be a cheap deck new players can build. And in Arena it doesn't matter because all of these cards are excluded.
FromBe, you know blizzard wants money, right? Just asking...
Very Good solid replacement for Sludge Belcher In Ramp/Midrange Druid. As Druid being my favorite class, I will definitely make some Beast Druids and C'Thun Druids, or C'Thuids as most people are putting it, when WoG comes out and standard ramp druid can possibly be a solid all-round deck for many players to play with, I just hope it does not get cancerous. Overall, a good turn 6 play along with Druid of the Claw for a wall against aggro, if it still exists in standard.
C'unt Druid. new archetype.
This card is AMAZING! A 6 mana 5-7 taunt is already very strong, but it also gives another card +6 stats, and has a delayed effect of dealing 3 damage randomly. Very good.
wow
why not just make c'thun a druid class card
I imagine EVERY class will get a card that buffs C'thun, and a card that benefits from C'thun being at 10+ attack. We still haven't even seen half of the 16 cards (only 5 so far) that buff C'thun, so I imagine it's a safe bet we'll see more insane cards to help give C'thun decks the strength they need to become at least a tier 2 deck. (Also, interesting to note, this card makes me think that Skeram Cultist might have had its stats as 6 mana 7/6 to deal with a card like this. I'm interested to see what the other class buff cards will look like).
you would be right if you werent completely 100% wrong
A 5/7 taunt is already worth about 6 mana. The C'Thun effect tacked on is just ridiculous. C'Thun Druid will be a top-tier deck, mark my words.
I think, every class will have a "give C'thun +3/+3" card.
I r8 this card 5/7
