I think the wording on this card is unclear. With what it does it should be something like 'Deal 2 damage to all enemy minions, then freeze all enemy minions'. Right now the text refers only to the minions hit because of the word 'them', but in fact it also freezes minions that appear after dealing damage (Imp Gang Boss getting hit by blizzard produces an imp which gets frozen).

Works like that with Patrons as-well, it damages them which causes it to summon a Patron and then freezes the summoned Patrons along the damaged ones.

I agree. I dislike this card intensely because I actually still mess up what it does. The wording on the card is so clearly not what happens when you play it.

I actually think it'd be much better and more fun if it did what the text says. So if youBlizzard a Nerubian Egg the spider isn't frozen, if you Blizzard a Grim Patron the one that spawns isn't frozen, if you Blizzard a Scarlet Crusader it's not frozen etc. It makes it more unique compared toFrost Nova and more it's use more skillful.

I was coming here just then to suggest that Blizzard (the devs) fix it! It's possible! They just fixed Explosive Sheep 's interaction with Poison Seeds (see: Kripp) and that bug has been around for a long time and one of the cards is rotating out of Standard in a month!

One of the best AOE in the game, not used so much recently and I am not sure why.

You would've seen it alot in Freeze Mage, but since Freeze Mage just faded out of the meta recently, any other mage decks generally don't run this alongside Flamestrike because it's too clunky.

Wow that's crazy. I use this along with a flame because against today's rush decks even Flamestrike is sometimes too slow..plus I get a chance to set up my next attack.

Yeah excuse what I wrote, it was half a year ago when Naxx was just released and Freeze Mage was not very viable at all bc of all the deathrattle sticky creatures.
