This card will be insane!! This is the removal priest needed for a long time now.
They really did. They were falling behind big time against other control decks simply because they lacked really good removal. I mean look at control warrior with their shield slam for 30 damage, execute, big game hunter, brawl, and the plethora of weapons. Priest needed pretty much one more good removal option and this fits it perfectly.
I think this is a key card in Reno Fatigue Priest
Used it today on a Sylvanas that had taunt, felt so good!
that happened to me, and it felt broken as heck, come on... is the best hard removal in the game now
- poly = 4 mana (but requires 2 mana ping to remove the token)
- assassinate = 5 mana (triggers deathrattle)
- siphon soul = 6 mana (triggers deathrattle + 3heal)
- execute requires dmg and triggers deathrattle
entomb = 6 mana , doesnt triggers deathrattle and adds one card to your deck
fcking rly? feels like using earth shock, fireball, and gang up on the same card, as if priest didnt have enough board clear/hard removal already
It's situational like any removal. I would still take the warrior removal package. 4 copies of 1 mana hard removal spells? Sure, they gotta be damaged or you gotta have armor... but that's certainly easy. So for 1 mana you kill sylvanos and then still have plenty left over to play your big minion that didn't get stolen.
I think at 6 mana, entomb is playable (and very good), but I've had to entomb some dumb targets too because they got beefed up.
Also, you didn't mention Hex... for 3 mana it takes care of anything. I don't think Entomb is the strongest removal. I would trade it for Hex or Poly just because 6 mana doesn't leave you much room. Sure, you remove 1 big threat, but if you're already behind on board, it doesn't allow you to remove and place your own threat like other removal can.

Another reason why Priest should be renamed to Thief.
It will replace my Mind Control for sure.
I think this will be very strong. It's the better version of mind control. The problem about mind control is that it's simply too slow, even on turn 10. You can't play mind control and anything else or hero power on the same turn. Just to be able to hero power on the entomb turn makes it so much better than mind control.
Coolest golden animation in the game. Will put 2 copies in my fatigue priest deck with excavated evil. Already been trying it out, it's pretty good, just loses to fatigue warrior because of the fatigue damage and that my hero power, whilst being much higher quality when i'm at less than full hp, is completely trumped by armoring up, but this could change that.
Could you put a decklist of your deck ? Cause im trying to make a fatigue priest but its not working realy well...
Yeah I tried a bunch of different lists, this is the one ive had the most success with. Put it on here just for you buddy :)
