I never thought Malygos was anywhere close to beeing oberpowered but it is just another way of dealing obsene damage on one turn. Sure, when you are in a "dead by turn 7" meta it will not be very good butI dont believe it is healthy on the long run to be able to deal more than 50% of your life total on one turn, independent of what you have in your hand.  

I just noticed Malygos,  Evolved Kobold and Jungle Moonkin dont appear in Hearthpwn's card database if you filter it by Spell damage -Yes. This should be fixed

Great card. I crafted him a few months back, then ironically I opened him from my very next pack. I have had him twice more since, but fortunately the last time (today) he was a keeper, lovely and Golden!

Is it me or are Pirate Warriors completely unable to cope with losing to MalyRogue? All 3 of the ones I beat spammed "Wow" until conceding when they see the lethal

Sometimes people spam WOW because they actually find the play exciting. Can't assume sarcasm in every emote. But yeah sometimes it is done in frustration. 

I couldn't resist crafting this lovely dragon in gold, the art on it is just beautiful.

There's something about a turn 6 OTK that just gives me the best feelings ever.  Opponent had Flamewaker, 4 Mirror images and 1 mirror entity.

Barnes>Malygos+ 2X Sinister Strike + Prep > Eviscerate + Prep > Headcrack.

Best Maly Druid I could think of that was as cheap as possible.

I really like Maly; he's an almost guaranteed win condition as long as the enemy doesn't have an answer to him.

Malygos is an absolute god,pity he is not used much anymore...+5 spell damage cannot deal with aggro...and aggro is EVERYWHERE

9 mana cannot deal with aggro*. from what i've seen, a 6 damage arcane explosion clears up zoo nicely

By turn 10 zoo can kill you if you had 100 health instead of 30.

You posted this when Karazhan came out and it was Karazhan that reinvigorated the use of Maly. Cards like Barnes that can pull the +5 spellpower out early and lategame cards like Arcane Giant that reward spell heavy decks are all factors that augmented his rate of play and they all came out in Karazhan. I'm not sure what made you say he's not used anymore...

Here is some usage of good ol' Maly after Karazhan:

First legendary I've ever opened. Back then i would disenchant almost everything so I ended up dusting him, and of course, regretting it. Today I've opened him again!

I'm so happy the gods gave me a second chance :)

20.33% used in Mage decks? I have never seen any Mage playing Malygos on ladder. I really like this card, but I don't know how to make best use of it. :( 

I've never seen a Mage with Malygos as well, but you have to consider that these data is about all decks made on Hearthpwn only, if you take a look you will find a lot of crappy theorycraft decks here.
