I really like your effort on this even though, as you said, disagree with quite a few placements (Black Knight 4/5 preferred over Greenskin 5/4, etc). But great breakdown overall.
Also agree that Ysera is much more consistent and have a great 4/12 body that even silence can turn into 12 damage next turn with Confuise (which is my favorite card of the expansion).
Obviously there are situations that can help you put out the Paletress/Hero Power combo earlier. But I don't think, in analyzing the card, it's good to assume you can get those situations. Obviously if you can pull the combo off Turn 8 or use your Hero Power twice, the value improves. I just wanted to look at the vanilla case.
Looking over your post, I think I just put Black Knight in the wrong column. I'll edit the original post to fix it.
Also Mimiron's Head should follow the Black Knight's steps.
I actually ran a very similar comparison using a point value system for all possible legendaries without battlecries. My analysis didn't cover stat distribution differences (ie: a 6/3 is worth the same as a 4/5) and was pretty subjective in some cases, but in the end, I came up with somewhat similar results. I assume you are playing her on turn 9 with hero power, and only get one activation.
Without going into all of the ugly math and card value approximation details that I spent a couple of hours on, here are the results (with comparisons to putting other legendaries in your deck):
When you reduce everything down, playing Confessor Paletress is a lot like rolling a 3 sided die. The 1st side wins you the game. The 2nd is neutral. The 3rd makes you lose.
(@Agent Splice: Personally, I'd drop Nexus-Champion Saraad from Amazing to Good. Paletress is a bigger target; I'd much rather my opponent get a random spell in hand than summon a random legendary.)
it summons minion on the field without activating battlecryes so alextraza being 8/8 can't be worse then ronin 7/7.
why exactly are the valkyr considered bad?
The detailed analysis has made my thoughts inferior comparatively.I personally dislike this card, and can't agree more that most priests don't need such an unstable card.Besides, She is a holy priest rather than a summoner...!
There is inspiration better than these beautiful legs?
it's a leg, i really don't see what is sexy about a leg
*shakes head in disappointment*
trolden videos of getting out of this Majordomo Executus letting your ooponet win the game in 3...2...1...
Play this on turn 10. You have Maiden of the lake and garrison commander. Hero power once get another Confessor paletress the use hero power again and get double rag. GG
Remember: Fencing Coach
This can be intresting with SF - since IF she lives a turn then: heal-SF-spike. Too slow, ofc, but who knows
So the bad thing is you are only ever going to play this on turn 9 (save for Thaurissan/other mana reduct shenanigans)
Good thing is if it lives until turn 10 there is all sorts of crazy shit you can do.
I see a lot of people talking shit about this card but we have no idea how powerful an Inspire priest will be. If this goes unanswered it's pretty much GG for your opponent and it's just another win con for priest to put into their deck.
Cool card. I wish it had 5 health though.
With Thaurissan and coliseum manager, you could summon 2 random legendary cards! This is very interesting.
wtf ever
