One of my top favourite cards in the entire game. Both visually - love both the motive and choice of colours - and statwise. I'll often play dragon warrior just so I can use this card.
I actually cannot comprehend how this became a real card, more braindead stats to push an archetype from blizzard
the best cards in hearthstone are always riding horses
Last time I checked, Dr. Boom, Sylvaanas Windrunner, and Tirion Fording weren't riding horses
Mysterious Challenger
Kinda denied

T1 - Coin + this, T2 - this, T3 - Berserker, T4 - for the warchief. Brainless aggro ruins this game
op card
Definitely my favorite card now.
A charging 3-3 for 2 mana most of the time? Deals with Shielded Mini Bot, that's all I care for.
Also deals with piloted shredder very well
it's stats are ok for a 2 mana card so it is nice imo even without the the charge. with the charge and attack bonus it is amazing for a 2 drop. i was actually surprised to see this though when it came out because i didn't think Blizzard would help out dragon warrior as much as other decks. still this helps a lot as an early game card for dragon warrior since your opponent will have to waste some resources that would be better suited for your dragons.
in practice this card is very powerful. 3/3 charge for 2 mana allows you to dominate the board early on in order to buy time to play huge control warrior minions. more often than not with a decent control/dragon deck you get a dragon to be able to use it at the right time and if you don't 2/3 is still perfectly fine to at least have presence on the board.
I think the best way to describe this is that it's never the card you want but it's always the card you need... if that makes sense.
Sometimes it's just a 2/3 for 2. That's not great by any means in constructed, but against aggro it might just be what you needed to get a 2-for-1 and keep the board from spiraling out of control if you didn't draw Fiery War Axe (or hell, you can play alongside War Axe too for more early game presence).
Against control it's either a Darkbomb or 5 damage with Cruel Taskmaster. Turn 6 Thaurissan? This + Cruel = 5 damage. Not amazing value, but sometimes that's juuuuuust what you need to keep yourself from losing.
It has the chance of trading into something with <=2 attack and you leave behind a 3/1 or 3/2 body on the board. Not totally impressive, but sometimes it's perfectly fine.
A little off lethal with Death's Bite + Grommash Hellscream? Need to burst through a Sludge Belcher but you don't have a way to deal with the Slime? Add 3 more damage of reach with this guy in the late game! Dragon Warriors now have a way to burst you down from 10 and a 1 durability Death's Bite with an empty board, even if you have a 5 health Sludge Belcher out and the Warrior has no Thaurissan discounts. In comparison, Force+Savage would only deal 4 face damage to you in that scenario I described.
None of these scenarios are TOTALLY INSAAAAANE, but you'll run it just because it has so much flexibility in both control and aggro match-ups, in both the early game and late game. It doesn't do any one thing amazingly, but it does everything just good enough.
This is a card that puts Dragon Warrior in a really good spot. The only bad news to dragon fans is that this is a class card and not a neutral! Sucks to be a Dragon Priest fan because Wyrmrest Agent doesn't hold a candle to this.
MORE DOTS!!!!
Blizzard MUST create an interaction when the Dragon you holding, is Alexstrasza.
But then again, your opponent knows she is in your hand.
fixed
Dragon Warrior needed a buff. Anything to get rid of the GP gimmick decks. At the very least the art is outstanding on this guy.
This card seems overpowered to me, but perhaps the fact that you have to tailor your deck around it will keep it in check. As was already mentioned, it will be a killer arena pick; at 2/3 for 2, it's already good, and if you happen to get dragons, so much the better.
Dragon Warrior was already a thing. Now it's a bigger thing.
blizzard decided to give warriors the sausage again.
so far they have gotten the worse possible cards in this expansion.
for those people that say this is good they are wrong. in constructed no one is going to play this card because dragon decks intend to suck eventually . and in arena its just a river croc so if this card is good so is river croc. in another word blizzard give warriors a river croc.
