Why is the Purator not a Mech?
Blizzard answered this pressing question on twitter through Game Designer Leo Robles
Quote from BlizzardOld curator is wrong - it shouldve never been a Mech since Arcane Guardians/Golems arent mechs (see Arcsplitter in MotLK). Afaik we just never changed it since the card saw enough play where we didnt want to remove gameplay from it
UPDATE: Purator will become a Mech afterall, as tweeted by the same Game Designer in a follow up!
Quote from BlizzardSeveral ppl have pointed out that, while what ive said about The Curator/arcane guardians is true, The Purator/lightforged warframes ARE Mechs.... oops LOL
We'll look to fix this in a future patch and give it the Mech tag 👍

Quote from BlizzardAs the Battle for Silvermoon rages on, a massive shadow blots out the sun. To their horror, the Blood Elves see a floating necropolis, Naxxramas, approaching their fair city. This evil entity is unnatural, but something about it feels familiar. They brace themselves and call for help. This is the March of the Lich King Mini-Set, Return to Naxxramas!
Return to Naxxramas, launching worldwide on February 14, consists of 38 new cards: 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card, 17 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. Those new cards can either be opened in March of the Lich King Packs or purchased as a complete 72-card set.* Normal versions of the Mini-Set can be purchased in-game only, for 2000 Gold or 1500 Runestones. The all-Golden version can be purchased for $69.99 or, for the first time ever, 10,000 Gold. The Golden Mini-Set option also includes a bonus Diamond Legendary!
* Includes one copy of each Legendary card and two copies of each other card.

Return to Naxxramas unlocks Death Knight’s full potential with the class’s first Location and Colossal cards! But the Lich King isn’t the only one getting support. The Mini-Set also includes all-new Dual-Type minion creations, advanced synergies, and a terrifying new way to win the game! Check out the official Hearthstone Card Library for a full reveal calendar as the necropolis draws near.

I think it like (almost) any others legendary cards. A card that you can hoping for a turning table.
Considering you can combine it with the other card from the miniset that was revealed to freeze and extra 3 minions which makes it a 10 mana, 2 card, kill 5 combo that leaves you with a 6/6 and a 2/3. That also forces you to use one ice rune so its not deck limiting.
The real question is why they randomly break their own rules of "We can't reuse keywords" for some things but refuse to do so for ones that would make interesting cards.
That sounds terrible
Amazing. Now you can transform your 1/1 ghoul or a 1/1 bird into a 5/4 minion, 3 times. Unholy Dk is weak and needs such card.
Unholy is not weak. Last 7 days it's the best deck in Standard (Diamond through Legend).
Edit:
Just realized you were probably being sarcastic.
Still attempting to give a shit...
...attempt still failing.
Yet you care enough to make a comment expressing your lack of interest....
"Oh look at me, peasants. See how much I don't care"
Steamcleaner says hello, hello, hello…
Another "Win Game" card.
An obviously busted location.
I've lost all hope.
The "win game" card is very slow and very easy to counter, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
The location, however, is obviously overpowered, and it will make DK even more dominant, and we will need to suffer for a month of an exclusively unholy DK meta.
I don't care much about the power level of the "Win Game" cards. Though this one might actually have some potential with Countess Ashmore.
My main gripe here is the design philosophy, I absolutely detest it. It doesn't make games fun, it removes the fun out of them. Mecha'thun and Questline Priest I hate equally as much, even if the second one is nowhere to be seen in the meta.
Right, busted. That's why everyone ran Desecrated Graveyard in Warlock. Oh wait...
Yes. No one actually wins a game with these cards in a fair intended manner. I have never seen anyone play a control deck that draws you out of cards and THEN plays Mechathun.
It's ALWAYS some degenerate combo - and if the combo is actually viable we have to suffer a month or two until it gets nerfed. It's not good for the game and it's not good for the players playing the game.
Right, cause summoning a 4/4 at the end of you turn without rush, through killing a random minion, while you don't have a hero power that summons a 1/1, while not having a corpse system where the card gives you three extra corpses, is totally the same thing.
See, that is probably your issue: you make up your own rules and complain when others don't follow them.
Like, where do you get what the "fair intended manner" is for these cards?
Yes, because why would you run the OTHER player out of cards? Fatigue is already a wincon on its own and it is not a requirement for Mecha'thun. (Unless you phrased that wrong and meant your own deck).
And if you are running Mecha'thun as your wincon, why would you not draw through your deck to enable it? Or even use a more effective way to activate it sooner?
10,000 gold for the all gold version huh? Not bad, not bad. Not sure how many people will throw away 100 packs for this mini set but it might be worth the gold for some.
lol, man nooo, Rogue is already pillagering on turn 5
I have a confession to make... I thought stowaway was neutral... yikes.
