Balance Changes Coming Next Week - Mage, Paladin, Rogue & Neutral
Alec Dawson, a Lead Designer, just posted a Tweet mentioning balance changes next week as well as what classes will receive them + the final number of changes.

The real change that needs to happen that no one is thinking of:
Broom becomes a 0/1.
I saw someone talk about broom only giving adjacent minions rush and I think that is the way I hope they go.
That sounds pretty interesting, maybe making it buff just one friendly minion is also an option. Little funny how it would still be powerful.
Within a week? Really? Again, do you do any playtesting whatsoever?
They just aren’t good at coming up with strong decks it seems.
maybe change spring water to be 'if you draw a spell, refresh 2 mana crystals?'

That won’t do much, because mages can still manipulate what spells are generated by changing what they include in in their deck. The flame strikes become Librams of hope instead. And you just solved one problem to create a similar one. Best option is to make the card cost more mana (4-5) so there is a feasible tempo loss the turn it is played. This gives decks the chance to build a board and establish a lead that is tough to come back from.

I always find it annoying when they know the exact cards that are changing but don't feel like sharing.
Better to change the spells into ones that cost 2 mana more instead of 3.
I see that some people want Mage to be more heavily targeted with this nerf. I think it might end up being Paladin. Paladin has a 57% winrates to mages 51.
ABOUT FCKN TIME
Deck of Lunacy should be a meme card and not a competitive card that has a really high chance to win you the game. I hope they find a nerf which kills it totally, but doesn't kill no minion mage. Which also needs an adjustment with Refreshing Spring Water restoring 1 mana per spell instead of 2. It will still be a 2 mana arcane intellect in no minion mage, but the free card draw is just nonsense.
Regarding Pen Flinger I'm fine either with it can only target minions or when it bounces back it looses its spell burst effect.
I have just played secret pala and Sword of the Fallen just needs to loose 1 durability.
The thing with Far Watch Post and Efficient Octo-bot that currently no class really can beat 4 hp minions on turn 2. The octo-bot can survive a 1 hp nerf, rogues just have to activate it on the turn they play. On the other hand the watch post I think will just die with one less hp. To be fair I don't see watch post as a big problem. Annoying? Yes! But I wouldn't call it game breaker. We need some cards that can slow down aggro decks. I will be sad if it gets nerfed.

I'm actually happy that they don't nerf Tickatus, it'll keep otk Demon Hunter in check while I wreck them with Rattlegore
Tickatus is incredibly unfun to play against. You literally cannot stop yourself from losing 5+ cards to it. A warlock duplicated it and removed 20 cards from my deck. Say what you will about all the other decks, that shit is incredibly unfun.
I never said that it isn't. But so is otk demon hunter and I honestly feel like I got more chance against Control Warlock than against DH with the decks I play. It may not be the case for you.
People out here would rather die on turn 7 to a combo than get five cards destroyed.
