Ha ha as funny as the troll woman recruiting an old god for her team would be, looking at the trend, she's recruited Togwaggle from Kobolds, Hagatha from Witchwood and looks like Dr. Boom is coming from Boomsday Project. Trend wise it would make sense to recruit the 4th member from Rastakhan's Rumble?
I like character retrains so long as they are at a similar level of playability as Ragnaros, Lightlord and not just pack fillers like Hogger, Doom of Elwynn or Duskfallen Aviana. With that being said, I really look forward to a Illidan Stormrage retrain. It's a shame to have one of the most iconic characters in WoW lore to be a joke card
Disappointed, what's the point revealing characters that were already revealed?
Exactly. I just really hope that there will be something more into this. Hopefully these trailers are just an introduction to the new year/expansion, and hopefully we are now looking at the past, and not at the current point in time. Fortune teller is supposed to predict the future somehow, right? When i hear what she tells Hagatha, I actually hope that this is in past, when she was weak, and then she was granted some power and then the Witchwood came in. Same for Togwaggle, he was poor AF, then he was rich and sort of powerful in KaC. I hope for some content which happened before KaC, WW, BDP and RR, or some sort of time traveling.
Other than Deathwing, Dragonlord this is the first time two cards of the same character are in standard at the same time (for both Hagatha and Dr. Boom). It's the first time a non-classic card gets a new version. Would be interesting.
Also interesting what the last card is, if she says Dr. Boom is the last one she's summoning.

I don't think It's a Violett Hold Expansion. In both Toggwaggle's and Hagatha's teasers it was made clear that they are free, not imprisoned. The King (seen in his realm) wants his gold, not his freedom back, Hagatha barely escaped and now seeks revenge. Both of them meet the Witch in the (presumably) inn. While it's still possible, that they seek to break out the Fifth, they certainly don't have to leave any prison.
It seems more likely, that the first 4 villains simply set the mood for the Fifth, with some qualitys they all share: plotting/scheming/villain/seen before. Most likely the big evil guy of next expansion was als seen before, and now returns with new abilitys (like the two deadwings)
Calling it: the PvE content is centered around a heist in Dalaran, (possibly stealing a MacGuffin), the rest of the expansion will only be tangentially related. Could be the original home of Dalaran, could be the Zone Dalaran hovers over, or even the banking and Auctioneering system of Azeroth- which would lend itself well to new keywords and could easily be robbed.
People are talking about violet hold for quite a few reasons and it started before the first teaser was released. The colors, the cardback, thee few pictures you can make out... All pointed to Dalaran and probably Violet Hold.
It's real easy to put them all in prison in the last teaser (some heroes bust them in while they're scheming), but I do agree the story would be less interesting if they're all imprisoned, and they'd to be out at least part of the time for the full year story to unfold...
Seeing as how we first saw this fortune teller in the old gods promotions I’m going to make the leap and predict the last villain is N’zoth. Every time the lightning flashes you can see tentacles around her. He’s also known for plotting and scheming in wow lore (mostly due to being sealed at the bottom of the ocean and can’t do his own dirty work) and would make an imposing leader seeing as he’s a god and all.

maybe not next card, but we gonna see him soon !
as I was always hyped for any pre-expansion stuff, these trailers make me feel nothing
What if last card is the Lich King and the whole teaser thing ends up revealing DK as a new playable class??? too much expectation...
How did you get this idea? Then, what about Togwaggle, Hagatha, Dr. Boom and Fortune Teller???

True! It would be awesome if the rework Illidan Stormrage and make it a better/playable card. I love this character.
Agreed. It's time for Illidan "I AM MY SCARS" Naarusmasher in Hearthstone.

Last card is the one to rescue or new villain from new set
Not the first time. Ragnaros the Firelord and Ragnaros, Lightlord also used to be both in standard at the same time.
you're right, forgot about Ragnaros, since neither of them are in standard right now.

What about Bolvar Fordragon, and Bolvar, Fireblood?
Elise Starseeker, and Elise the Trailblazer too...
None of those were in standard at the same time. Same goes for Aviana and Duskfallen Aviana

RIP Magatha
Boommaster Flark or Dr. Boom ? :Monkahmm:
