Mosh'Ogg is honestly not that bad. Vanilla statline on a 5-drop that potentially causes your enemy to fail a trade.
Obviously no constructed deck would run this unless they really need a 5-drop, but in Arena this could be huge. Imagine trying to trade a damage 5-attack minion into this and it just bumps into a 1/1 token instead and dies. The tempo gained is huge. And you yourself get to pick trades as normal.
Mark of the Loa on the other hand is kinda meh. double 3/2s for 4-mana isn't exactly powerful and for 2-extra mana you get 2-extra health over Mark of the Wild.
Why not just run Saronite Chain Gang and get the best of both worlds? It would have been better with lower stats but as a 3-drop. Like +2/+3 and taunt or two 2/2 raptors so it works for Odd Druid...I just don't see the point of it right now
100% chance of finding at least 15 copies of this
Token Druid support and a new ogg... seems interesting.
No one plays this shit in the Token Druid.
Maybe two 3/2 minions are useful for 4 mana curve.
Don't forget Leeroy Jenkins and Cobalt Scalebane. Also, it doesn't have any effect on spells, I don't think this will see play at all.
Eventually we will have an Ogre themed deck. maybe with a hero power that makes everything random
i heard you like good new cards....then i have bad news for you
Mosh'Ogg Announcer pretty good in Arena!
Mosh'ogg Announcer is pretty damn good for aggro decks. It can attack fine unlike other ogres and in return is hard to kill.
good arena cards, not much chance for any constructed play
2 fillers, good idea not to have anyone else try to hype these two!
Sure, let's call fillers everything what you dislike...
That ogre is a meme card with low stats. Both options of the druid card are outclassed by cards like Saronite Chain Gang and Oaken Summons. Explain why they are not fillers plz!
One word: A-R-E-N-A
@SlydE:
Meme card and druid one not playable now, maybe, most probably it is like that. But it doesn't mean the cards are filler. Filler card is typically card with not idea, just to fill the set e.g. vanilla minions, taunt, divine shield with no rich text. We can hardly say that about the cards above...
Meme != filler at all. There can be plenty cards what are not fitting any - current tier3+ deck - and they doesn't deserve be called fillers. Above that, the situation can change very fast and who know if the druid one will be playable after next rotation or not, but it doesn't matter.
So that's why I'm a bit disappointed by people who calls filler every card which doesn't fit any current hypothetical mid/high tier deck.
Just because some cards are better at some tasks then others doesn't mean new cards are instantly bad.
Some cards might not be amazing now, but next rotation will change Standard quite a lot.
Some card combinations even develop a couple expansions later in the rotation.
I respectfully disagree. These cards remind me most of cards like Mogor's Champion and Shellshifter. To me, those are filler. Let's see how many even remember those 2 in a few months...
