This bog is thick and easy to get lost in 'Cause you're a dumb and belligerent fucker!
I hope it sucks you down!!
1)this is neutral card so any class can play it.this is huge power boost alone
2)Not dealing dmg to your hero so aganist aggresive decks easier to survive.
I dont think this is best card ever but I think that card is good and head to head with vulgar... just wanted to point
This card is too OP. Will definitely see some play.
Strong card - I think it will see a lot of play. It's low cost, can be used as both aggro and anti-aggro, and is neutral. But man, this Gnome looks like he got tuberculosis.
How is that better than Vulgar ? Vulgar has no condition to be a 2/4, this card will very rarely be a 2/4 if you play it on turn 2. Which makes me wonder if you wanna keep it in your opening hand if you can't play it on turn 2.
Wow, I just realized it's not a priest card. Probably a flashback to Wyrmrest Agent...
If the meta keeps odd Paladin and other aggro decks up there I can definitely see this getting played. People that don't think a deck can have 2 minions by turn 2 have probably never played against Zoo, Odd Paladin or Even Shaman. Even odd Rogue sometimes has them. Besides, a 2/4 Taunt is a nice stall even in the mid-game, when most decks have at least 2 minions out.
That's if they play first. If you play first and they don't use the coin instantly, on your turn 2 they only have 1 minion on board. Which makes this card a lot more awkward to play than Wyrmrest or Vulgar in my opinion... Still looks like a fine card, but constructed level ? I don't know.
Odd Paladin seems to much too often have Lost in the Jungle on turn 1... And I agree it might be a bit awkward to play on 3, but a card that's a little awkward 50% of the time and super-good the other 50% just might make it. Especially considering the 2 slot is somewhat anemic in the current rotation (the amount of deck running Prince Keleseth shows that clearly)
Wyrmrest is about as consistent and a lot worse when not combined with a dragon, since the taunt is a big part of the buff. But I guess we'll see... I won't lament another option of a card that might knock swarm decks down a peg (despite the fact I play all three I mentioned)
Sure, but I don't see myself including a card just because it's good against Odd Paladin playing Lost in the Jungle turn 1 ^^
Blizzard taught us a new word today!
Oh look, it's an actually-decent 2-drop. Not every deck is Prince Keleseth or Baku the Mooneater.
I don't know if I put it in a normal deck. Actually, I probably don't. On turn 2, your opponent probably doesn't have 2 minions already, so a lot of the time, it'd be a 1/4 for 2, which isn't good enough. But for Genn Greymane even decks, I'm glad this is being included in the next set.
Against Zoo, Odd Paladin or Even Shaman, it'll be a 2/4 on turn 2 and will do a lot of good to slow them down. Besides, it's an obvious power creep over Silverback Patriarch which of course has seen a lot of play all through Hearthstone's existence.
Depends if you're on the go or on the coin.
On the coin, there's a much bigger chance of two minions. On the go, even against Odd Paladin, there's a pretty solid chance they only have one minion. Sure, Lost in the Jungle exists, but with Belligerent Gnome in the game, I'm probably playing a Dire Mole turn 1. There's a bit of gamesmanship. Does Zoo coin out double-1s into a potential Gnome? I kinda think they don't.
That's part of why this seems so strong in Even decks. In a normal deck, this card is a really weak play on turn 3, just compare it to Tar Creeper. With Genn, Hero Power + this is going to be pretty good. I'm glad it's starting to look like there are enough good 2-drops again.

Silverback has been powercrept a lot. Squirming Tentacle and Twilight Geomancer and Druid of the Swarm.
Damn that's some terrible artwork.
Agree... it kind of looks like a mix of a Dwarf, Gnome, and an Oompah Loompah.
Are people really this dense? It's body paint, obviously. He's painted in the colours of the team he's cheering for in the arena.
Pause the video at 1:21 and read the newspaper, its pretty funny
Nice, I didn't realize it had words in it
can't wait to play this in Quest rogue. Just what they need! :) will be a 3/4 with Spirit of the Shark too
