Quote from DaxxarriRikkar stood on the intricately cobbled path and gazed up at the fabled Gurubashi Arena. Ever since he was a little troll, he’d dreamt of being here, preparing to compete at the legendary Rumble. As the crowd streamed past him toward the gates, he paused to savor the moment: the thrill of anticipation on the air, the roar of the crowd in the stands, the grimaces of pain as chumps paid the scalper for last minute tickets. Nothing in the world was like Rastakhan’s Rumble!
Rikkar had spent his whole life preparing for this moment (and bought his tickets two years ago. He wasn’t foolish). Last time the Rumble was held, Rikkar was small enough to watch the action from his father’s shoulders, screaming at the top of his lungs along with the crowd as he witnessed High Priest Thekal clinch the final for the Tigers over the Sharks. He knew it then: someday HE would be down on the sands, and the crowd would be roaring HIS name!
As he joined the long line leading into the arena, the team posters that adorned the walls caught his eye. They were pristine, unlike his well-loved, but creased and faded collection back at the village.
The Tigers! Now there was a team! Rikkar could see himself earning Shirvallah’s favor and wearing the gold. He’d been training all his life: he had the eye of the tiger . . . the thrill of the fight . . . the wing of a bat . . . and a few other animal parts, just in case. Rikkar came prepared.
One thing you could say for the Bats, Hir’eek’s team knew how to get the job done. And shriek. And do absolutely anything it takes to win. Rikkar had to respect the initiative.
Why be a Bat when you could be a Rhino though? No fancy tactics or thinking. Got a problem? Smash it! Don’t got a problem? Smash it anyway! Plus, everybody loves War Master Voone. Not only are Voone’s parties legendary, rumor has it that he’s got friends in high places. Blackrock Mountain is pretty high up, right?
Rikkar couldn’t believe it. Twenty years later, he was finally part of the crowd thronging into the Gurubashi Arena. His heart was resolved: he wasn’t just here to watch the spectacle this time. He was here to compete! Somehow. . . .
He just needed a chance to prove himself!
But which team would he join? Which Loa would he pledge himself to?

Ticket scalper + houndmaster Shaw = card draw for Hunter?
An eight-mana two piece combo to draw 2 cards? Better stick to Tracking.
Heavy Metal! + Geosculptor Yip = Even Armor Warrior? I'm intrigued by the potential but also kind of disappointed that Yip has already lost his uniqueness.
I'm more interested in the fact that his effect is now worth 6 mana. So they are saying Yip is a 2 mana 4/8 if you think about it.
I don't think it's always right to value crazy powerful tempo swings like that. Look at something like Woecleaver and Gather Your Party. Woecleaver has the effect an additional two times and a 3/3 weapon yet nobody is saying that Blizz values it as a 2 mana weapon. Big swing cards need to be at a certain mana threshold or else they become oppressive and abused. The armor summon card can't be much cheaper because then it would allow for some crazy swings. I hope they continue toning down on the huge mana cheat cards.
Agree with some of the other posters, Ticket Scalper seems to be filler at best. The warrior card is a bit interesting though for those that do like to stack armor and like a little RNG. There are quite a few good 8 Mana minions if you held on and tried to boost say a Tirion, Gromm, Al'akir, etc... but it is sort of RNG fiesta. Not something I would build a deck around.
I am fan of the posters included with each of the Champions thus far. Hopefully they have some high resolution ones available or make them available for each.
Because looking at two cards clearly defines the expansion...
Here let me try:
Frozen Throne(In my opinion strongest set): Skelemancer, Bone Baron, Wow clearly this expansion is useless
Kobolds and Catacombs(Stupidly strong set): Kobold Hermit, Windshear Stormcaller, Oh yep, the expansion is clearly useless.
Also while currently revealed cards don't seem to have much power variation depending on what ways people find to use them, other cards certainly will.
Don't worry bro you are not alone. Let these kiddies get hyped for useless shit and let them spend the mama's money for another piece of shit face to shaman
If you trade into it with a minion that has less than 5 health, it still triggers Overkill. It's actually quite good.EDIT: No, turns out Overkill triggers on your turn only. Bummer.
Even pirate rogue is real boys
good warrior card
figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro figaro
if it were Odd costed it would just be insane and unfair. I love warrior but being costed 6 makes sense and not entirely crazy to pull off 10 armour. turn 10 use iron hide with shield block and Heavy metal. 3 cards to combo on turn 10 when u could just play a 10 cost minion seems crazy and not good but dont forget u are getting 10 armour and a 10 drop with 10 mana. seems good that way. Will it be compettive? nope, FUN? Hell yes
What about Ticket Scalper and Rocket Boots, would that be worth it? 6 mana combo to draw 3 cards and clear a minion with 4 > health?
Decent combo but you also have to put at least two bad cards in your deck that suck independently - and the strength of them requires a certain board state.
Spend 6 mana to remove a minion, and draw maybe 3 cards, but u don't have nothing on board and u're still behind...
4 or less health
Does the minion with overkill have to survive for the overkill to trigger? E.g. Ticket Scalper run into a 3/3 would draw two cards or not?
Apparently not
I'm sure if you meet the Overkill criteria card draw will happen no matter Ticket Scalper survives it or not.
