If you need help clearing the recently unlocked Boomsday Project Puzzles, you're in luck! We've figured them all out for you and put them into dedicated guides. Each lab contains 4 different bosses with varying amounts of puzzles. Each lab ends with special encounters featuring Dr. Boom. Below you'll find links to all our guides.
A very special thank you to FrostyFeetEU, ShadowsOfSense, Sinti, and Sylicas for helping me put these together.
The Lethal Lab
These puzzles require you to kill your opponent.
The Mirror Lab
These puzzles require creating a mirror of your opponent's board.
The Board Clear Lab
These puzzles need both sides of the board cleared.
The Survival Lab
These puzzles require healing yourself to full.
The Reward
Completing all the puzzles gives you a card back!
For the people that complain about the reward. Why play this if you need the reward in the first place. It was something nice and unique
Thanks Hearthpwn... I love my new card back. LOL
I love you and i wanna thank your for this guide. Have the best day!
Haha a card back for all that time completing those puzzles. Blizzard that’s ridiculous hours spent playing for a card back.
u get the queen tho
Well said @ Sand
Why have a “reward” at all? This is probably the lamest “reward” I’ve ever seen in any video game ever. 10 gold would have been better, an I would have seen 10 gold as being a complete insult (so imagine how lame a ducking card back is...)
Thank you for the help everyone :) really helped me learn how to play better!
...In human speak, that's what a guide is.
i love how they call them puzzle guides .. oh you mean the answers!!! LuL
Hmm, no, i'm just saying that he missed the part that, make people have fun is the base work of every company that make games, and if you want to give rewards to people that complete things in the game, "Fun" is not a reward for the part of "complete things", fun is what the players must have when the play, independently of being in a casual, ranked, adventure or quest game.
btw "Oh look i read the half of the comment and i don't like it, i'll make a bad imitation of a comment that i even didn't understood to sound cool"
yeah is easy make that tipe of comments.
Originally i thought not a make a single video on this for lots of reasons, but you already guess that i changed my mind and made a playlist on this. Last video uploaded today. I don't have much time due to work, so editing was the fastest i could. Thumbnails maybe next weekend..
Main thing is that I made some overlay text to help the viewer, i hope that it is indeed helpful and somewhat good looking. Here is the playlist:

Feel free to check it out, or not.
Good luck to all
Hello, I'm entitled. Please give me all the stuff for free.
This is exactly how you sound.
well...no...yes have fun with the game is important but that is should never be the main "reward", we having fun should happen because is blizzard's job, if they make content that the half of the comunity hate, then they are failing. Have fun is the reward for PLAYING, not for COMPLETING, the puzzles. I know companies want money, but if you go every expansion saying, "your gain fun solving those puzzles" and nothing else, people will start to get tired of the content, and you i'll get fired. Make the puzzles interesting for people over those that are engached by the only thougth of complete them (like me) should have a better reward than a card back for the rest, cause for some people this is annoying, and i can understand it.
I'm sorry, I just did not realize ~3 people commenting on this site are "half the community". I thought millions of people play this game. My bad.
How are the puzzles an attempt to get money? You can't spend money on them even if you want to!
The entire game is F2P, and your vote for its quality is simply playing or not playing it. I'm sure Blizzard will be happy to give you all the money they made you pay. If they wont, I will myself gladly pay you 0$.
If you want an easy card back, there's a free one every month. The reward for this challenge is not the reason to play, I play because I really enjoy the challenge.
When I started I worried that this would be too trivial but there are some where I tried dozens of variations before finding the right ones. It's really rewarding ro solve them by yourself.
Glad for this guide. I am not good at puzzles and quite a lot of these use cards that are never played or have really weird board states (intentionally of course).
It just shows how complicated HS can be if convoluted scenarios occur, like imagine if someone pulled off one of the later puzzles in a tournament game, that would be so impressive compared to how games usually play out.
I still much prefer dungeon runs personally though, but it's also good they aren't afraid to experiment with a new game mode.
The Dr. Boom one "Of Patrons and Pirates" is actually a puzzle that happened the exact same way in Patron Warrior of old. 2 Grim Patron VS a Sludge Belcher for a 1-turn kill happened to me personally at least once (didn't get the kill at the time, took a while to solve it this time as well).
The reward is the fun playing it. If you're not having fun, you don't have to, and all that you lose is a card pack. The packs you earn are free. That's much better reward design than giving packs.
Hearthstone in its base is a multiplayer game. Working this hard on making a solo adventure that's polished and challenging is a virtue, not a misplaced effort.
Yes, you are right,
Hearthstone before netdecking was actually really good diverse and enjoyable game. Since then exept for some really rare exceptions you can play all day and meet the same decks over and over again.... for 4 months...
