All of The Boomsday Project Puzzles Cleared - Earn Your Card Back Easy!
If you need help clearing the recently unlocked Boomsday Project Puzzles, you're in luck! We've figured them all out for you and put them into dedicated guides. Each lab contains 4 different bosses with varying amounts of puzzles. Each lab ends with special encounters featuring Dr. Boom. Below you'll find links to all our guides.
A very special thank you to FrostyFeetEU, ShadowsOfSense, Sinti, and Sylicas for helping me put these together.
The Lethal Lab
These puzzles require you to kill your opponent.
The Mirror Lab
These puzzles require creating a mirror of your opponent's board.
The Board Clear Lab
These puzzles need both sides of the board cleared.
The Survival Lab
These puzzles require healing yourself to full.
The Reward
Completing all the puzzles gives you a card back!
You would really think Blizzard would put a little more time and effort into the cardback or at least some more rewards for this adventure. I'm not saying I'm not enjoying the puzzles.... but this cardback is meh.
I got no problem that this is posted here, but I for one am enjoying figuring these these out. I LOVE the addition of puzzles to the game. I wish they would update them periodically.
As someone who really love challenging puzzle games, this is one of the best Hearthstone experience ever, and I totally refuse to ever look out for any solution. A guide is required anyway, because after many tries and lot of time, I can understand how someone could get frustrated, and looking to a guide could be ok. This doesn't apply for the ones that just want a card back, and do not even try to do the challenge on their own. That is totally lame...
The same cardback I got from preordoring
A fucking card back? Man, this is so infuriating.
People downvote it because it's a terrible attitude. It's free fucking content and if you don't enjoy the puzzles or care for the cardback then don't bother playing it. I play the puzzles because I think it's fun - you know... the main reason you should be playing games. But no! "Waah, I want packs or gold to complete this optional PvE content".
I hate the 'I WANT MORE' attitude a lot of HS players have.
They are partially right, on psychological level you expect a reward equal to the effort. What they get wrong is that they didn't only got a card back but also 3 packs when Blizzard opened the lab. So what should have been the solution? Blizzard shouldn't had given the 3 packs immediatly but insted blizzard should had given one pack for each of the first 3 Dr. Boom's final challenges and releasing the back when completing the 4th one. XP
Since we can get a guide with all of the Puzzle Lab solutions, can we also get a guide on the secret achievements for this website?
And here I was hoping for a bit more than just a card back ...
lol "earn"
I've been asking for a strategic (puzzle) mode since the beggining of hearthstone and the answer I always got was that people would just post the answers on a webpage and people would look for them and just copy them. This game mode (solo adventure) is one of the funnest and challenging modes we've ever had and this guide just ignores all of that. You may not gain and advantage and by that maybe the word cheating wouldn't apply here, but it still makes it wrong. If you don't like the challenges or can't do them, you don't deserve the cardback.
Why the downvotes?
In chess, the fastest way of getting better is to solve lots of chess puzzles. But even when a student cannot find the answer, looking at results will greatly improve his skills.
I can't see what the fuzz is about with ppl doing the same in Hearthstone. Calling it "cheating" is ridiculous. Even if one is using a guide, just by looking at the answer of those puzzles, he will have a better understanding of game mechanics and become a sligh better player already.
As someone who completed 2 full wings all on my own and plans to at least attempt the two I'm scared of on my own before I even think of looking for a guide I just want to say that I'm not really upset or even surprised that you guys made a guide for a mode that does have answers, hell I might even need it on a puzzle or two down the line, but I'm disappointed in anyone who immediately runs to the guide without even attempting the puzzles on their own.
That's the same thing as trying to build a deck, getting stomped on, then netdecking and climbing ladder. And every "these puzzles are stupid/boring" comment is basically just "this deck is so broken/unfair" from those netdeckers.
PS for the "witch hunt/dungeon run was better" crowd Like what was so fun about doing random (usually unbalanced for replay factor) AI battles over and over with 0% guaranteed success??? Sorry that y'all rely on RNG so much you can't think a few card interactions through. I get that to each their own but just use the guide, get the card back, and continue to play more of your mode. Leave us to science in peace.
In the world of information exchange, you are gonna learn that its up to you to filter what information you actually interact with and validate. If the solution guide wasn't posted here, it would be in other parts of the internet. So what you're really asking for here is a hearthstone "safespace" where they regulate the information and so that it works for you. Seems unreasonable don't you think?
As for the stupid comments... I mean.... don't read them? People post stupid/unintelligent/conflicting/inaccurate posts all the time (see above), and the mods work on taking out the troll posts, but if a subjective interpretation formed in the product of an opinion gets posted then that's exactly what free speech is all about. If you don't like their comment, down-vote and the system/mods will eventually take out the comment as its been deemed unworthy amongst the community.
I am impressed with those puzzles, could not figure out the patron one (always 1 damage off, i was casting whirlwind a bit too soon) and the Defile one.
This is the first time i couldnt beat a HS challenge, ppl who advise others to figure out on their own are crazy.
Very nice solo adventure Blizzard, i am very pleased with the dificulty level as well.
this is bad... one thing is to net deck and then try to win with what you have, but this is cheating... for a cardback, shame on you OP, on hearthwpn and on people who use this "guide".
The reward is only a card back? No cards or packs?
Your lack of ability doesn't make the mode boring. It's just you.
