I think this card goal is not to interact/build around discard theme.
As many pointed out this is for Zoo (yeah, Silverware Golem could be in zoo but idk...)
However, I think that zoo need more resilient to removal cards.
Like more demons with deathrattle --> Summon another minion
Thanks for the explanation, the deck looks great! I'll give it a shot before the expansion hits.
Nevertheless, when I ask for a deathrattle minion I intencionally ask for a tribe card (demon) because of Bloodreaver Gul'dan. If Gul'dan could re-summon some sticky demons Zoolock would be Tier 1-2 for sure.
If there are more minions (or spells) with "if this card get discarded....." or something alike that on this expansion for warlock, I will definitely try this out.
I wanna try this on Quest too, just to see how well it would work.
I wonder how it interacts with Clutchmother Zavas and any other discard card that is immidiately played and then discards Clutchmother Zavas. Would it buff Clutchmother Zavas twice, as in still discard Clutchmother Zavas at the end of turn?
if the cards are no longer in your hand at the end of turn ( because for example, you played them ) then you won't actually discard them
That’s not what he was asking, he was wondering what would happen if Clutchmother was drawn by the legendary spell and then got discarded by another card or effect, if it would be discarded again or not.
yes that's exactly what I'm asking Frucs and The OriginalFirebolt
It would lose the effect so you won't discard it at the end of the turn
Probably best to look at Voodoo Doll on targeting. Although that involves the board Zone and not exclusively hand and discard zones. Good question though! Interested to see how it goes.
I think that since Clutchmother Zavas can have multiple buffs from her own effect at the same time (despite being discarded every time the effect activates) it is implied that she isn't truly being discarded, so it would make more sense if she also kept other effects in the hand. Who knows though, Blizzard aren't always consistent with this kind of thing.
Its basically draw 3, discard 3, but you can save wathever you like from those 3 before they discard.
This is the kind of (class) legendary i hate, take a completely uninspired concept and adjust its cost to fit the legendary status.
Ignoring completely it's power level, how can i be excited about drawing 3 cards? Class legendaries deserve so much more than that, even if it's not a competitive option.
The ultimate Warlock Legendary to bring discolock back and have fun swinging the board like Tess...
Battelcry: Play all of your discarded cards this game.
It’s possible. Keeps the theme for this classes set.
OP af
Only if Malchezaar's Imp was still in standard, I don't see any decks playing this.
Frontpage daily win rates, top 2 are zoo-lock. It's a T1 deck.
Giants played sooner then ever before! please just end my suffering
Going second you could play giant already for 3 mana this only helps the player going first to play it also at 3mana, so not much of difference..
Going to utterly suck when you draw Bloodreaver Gul'dan with this.
In seriousness though, the synergy in a deck like discolock is amazing, where you want to keep your hand empty anyway.
The Soularium is obviously great - 1 mana draw 3 is crazy powerful. The only risk inherent in the card is the risk of drawing a 10 mana card (i.e. Bloodreaver Gul'dan) and being forced to discard it. But Zoolock isn't running any cards above 5 mana today, and it's one of the most powerful decks in the meta. I'm sure they'll be very happy to get this kind of reload if the game goes long.
