I guess, factoring in the discount for Mulchmuncher (and possibly Sea Giant) is a valid point to consider. 3 Mana 4/4 is certainly not bad; a statline people would have gone crazy about in the past. But I feel like 2/2s die a bit too easily. Then again, when you can summon more and more and more of them, they will eventually make it tough for your opponent.
I will be trying it out for sure and hope it will be doing well. If not, Silver Hand Recruits got synergy cards almost every expansion. So there might be more coming for the trees.
Can't wait for "Reporting for duty" vs. "Rrwahrr",
Whether it works or not, at least it's a new direction for druid. Unfortunately, like most other new non-aggro deck types, unless it has a break-the-endgame mechanic like cube, DK or OTK combo, it likely won't be strong enough.
Those cards looks terrible on their own, but they could make a decent token or aggro druid.
Specially with Living Mana you could make the dream combo, just play it at turn 6, suicide the treants at turn 7 and you play 2x Mulchmuncher at turn 8.
I assume that someone has already addressed this, but IF treants are going to be a thing now, I feel like Ironbark Protector and the Ancients should be included. That said maybe I'm nuts or lacking info about the Ancients since I don't know WOW lore.
Just because you don’t like someone’s opinion doesn’t mean you should jump to insulting them. Very grownup of you, gotta say, you’ve almost convinced me you’re not just a little kid whining on the internet (see how easy it is to say stuff like that?).
And besides, there’s been plenty of times weird decks ended up being decent when they looked like they’d be unplayable. Not impossible so yeah, it “could” happen.
It's funny, he omited the Spell hunter example xD
We should give a chance to mid-rangy Treant Druid plus the Splintergraft - Mulchmuncher combined with other magnetics for late game value or crazy combos 😜
Didnt regret crafting mossy horror clap :D
Living mana is a wild card now? I'd not realized.
Do you remember the FAILURE of BEAST Druid? This is is going to be the same. Stop Hypying for very poor desing mechanics to fulfill a new-skin-to-secure-the-purchase expansion
i think those cards could fit in a token druid, i'm not sure, but seeing the art and name of the druid legendary spell it could have something to do with treants, so, still has a chance, who knows?, no one gave a sh** for Spell hunter before K&C, and look, now even without Barnes [/card] and [card]Y'Shaarj it's a good deck.
Tell me, why do you think this mechanic is going to flop? I don't think we've seen nearly enough cards to determine what the meta is going to look like, so I'd be interested to hear your reasoning.
Un'goro is wild already?
no, all expansions from 2017 (Journey to Un'Goro, Knights of the Frozun Throne, and Kobolds &Catacombs) will rotate out just when the fisrt expansion of 2019 gets released
edit, oh i get it, the missplay on the post xd
Whoosh
Pretty strange cards, but it looks like they can find their place in token, but why would token need them I dont know. But if we finally have some new mid range druid on treants, would be interesting.
Mulchmuncher looks amazing. You could slap that in token druid right now and it would be great. Since druid isn't one of the mech classes, i wonder if any neutral magnetics will be good with it. The legendary seems good but I wonder about something you can slap two of in the deck.
I could see a variation of token druid with witchwood apple or this landscaping card. Landscaping is a really good tempo card and the apple would have synergy with Mulchmunch and maybe mountain giant or sea giant depending on how the deck is built. I think more ways to generate a board is what token needs, because it really can run out of steam if you cant smash them with your first board or two and you haven't drawn UI. Being able to make some midsize boards will also strengthen the deck against its weaknesses like Warlock and warrior a bit, because you can force early clears earlier than hoping you can Violet Teacher + some spells.
I really these cards in idea. Dendrologist i'm not so sure about.
Mokuton-Druid treants no jutsu
Using a Mecha Hyppo in synergy with a Treant deck is aberrant, but ok.
Science/explosions and treants are a deadly combination....
