It's kind of cool to see all nine classes represented at a big tournament for once, even if some of the decks are pretty dominant.
ttk of ttk mage means two turn kill?
Correct.
ahqShaxy's Quest Mage 's deck should be renamed accordingly then. (sorry for bold, had to copy-paste the name of the deck.
Shaxy burned time warp yesterday due to full hand on his last game. It was sad
I'm looking forward to the end of the old gods. For me yshaarj and nzoth are pure pain.
Wait...someone didn't bring warlock? What sorcery is this?
Yeah in the qualifying stages I had a zoolock version with more demon synergy. Apothecary, Bloodfury Potion, Humunculous, Crystal Weaver, and Hooked Reavers. In retrospect that would have been better to bring again but I was going for more of an aggressive Paladin and Combo Priest target and it just happened that the only Paladin I faced was control and I never got the right queue of my zoo into dragon based priests.
I didn't want to bring conventional decks because I am not confident in my ability to win mirror matches against the pros. I'm just a housewife who happened to qualify unexpectedly so I have maybe a tenth of the games under my belt than the pros have. I have hit legend with the rogue and paladin and I love them so much but I still felt a ton of pressure and misplayed against hoej not playing around 2nd dusk and not dropping Lich King a turn earlier and making a copy of it to maximize my odds of finding heal to use post Alex. I have to work on my nerves going forward in tournament play.
Oh yeah and I'm a she =P
Dizdemon misclicked in deck submission. Jade Druid actually did some work for him though lol...
We've used these archetype names for some time now, I didn't expect them to be the talking point here. But I do welcome feedback as we get no archetype list/deck name list from anywhere ever so whoever is adding decks will just have to come up with something. Replying to questions:
The folks that are pretending to be upset over the names of the decks can probably thank Google translate. I hope everyone affected by this tragedy finds the strength to overcome their trauma . . .
On a more relevant note - it's quite rare for tournaments to feature all nine classes. I notice that both Zalae and Muzzy have advanced out of the group stage - they often train with Firebat and have frequently remarked about the post-nerf K&C tournament meta being the most diverse and interesting they can remember. Pretty flat, and pretty wide - a nice way to end YotMammoth.
who the fuck is naming these? its called jade druid instead of jade lotus hunter. spell hunter instead of big hunter? what? crystalcore? quest rogue
Almost no one ever is calling these decks like that, so I don't quite understand too why use such names.
You can say that Hunter was big ... ^^
... I'll show myself out
Why are all the spell hunters called "Big Hunter"? I thought big hunter was the Kathrena deck.
Perhaps people feel cool to call it "Big Hunter" because it has ONE WHOLE BIG MINION in an entire deck of 30.
So annoying.
