Obviously this isn't something that makes it a guarantee but I am betting that Chameleos is a hunter legendary simply because no other minions here really fit the hunter theme when you look through them, at least those with actual names. The only one that might fit is Lord Godfrey and I am leaning toward that being a Rogue card though I can hardly say for sure. That said they could be planning to reveal Hunter cards in the streams since Hunter does seem somewhat thematically bound to this expansion.
A valid point, but I actually think Chameleos might be the Shaman Legendary minion. I don't have any real evidence to back up this claim, but Blizzard does seem to like giving Shaman weird-looking minions, and I'd say a mutant chameleon fits that bill. Then again, we could both be wrong and it isn't even a Legendary at all XD (granted, it probably is since they bothered to give the card a name rather than a "title", but still.)
I sorta see your point but I am also sort of leaning toward hunter because of it being likely that he is a beast. Not many beasts have been class legendaries while outside of hunter or druid, the only one I can think of off the top of my head being King Mosh. I suppose it could be neutral as well but with only two more slots in neutral I doubt it.
(Sorta would enjoy if they made Chameleos a dragon just for the Monster Hunter reference, but I seriously doubt that.)
Why not to combine two tables into one?
I really wanted Lorna Crowley as an alternate hero for Hunter.
I mean, they made her a generic warrior like every NPC in wow, but at first she had a rifle and her own hounds.
Hopefully we get her as a card or something at least. In fact, it would be awesome if they expanded on the whole "Houndmaster/Unleash the hounds" archetype for hunter.
Hype to see "The Witching Hour". Such a legendary and iconic in both mythology and in Diablo series.
I hope any brazilian don't get cards to reveal this time, enough bullshit of delaying reveals.
Before someone say something, I am brazilian.
Wanted:
Secret, discover a minion from your opponents deck, when it comes into play destroy it.
What do you think? Is it to op? Not likely? It was just a quick thought I had.
A card like that would have to cost at least 5 mana. Because the odds of finding a big minion or key combo legendary is really high about half the deck is minions, and you can pick from 3. If you get a combo card you just win the game, and if you just hit a 6+ cost minion your opponent just has a dead turn later in the game giving you crazy tempo. I can't see a card like that not getting nerfed to hell even tho its a cool effect.
I don't get it, can someone please explain to me what is going on with these reveals?
Generally in the past we would have these presented by streamers, websites, etc. leading up to the official stream, which would generally show game play of some of the decks including some cards we haven't seen, a lot of Ben Brode laughs, and then right after the stream they would dump all the cards for everyone to see.
This time around they are having the stream first? Meaning that it will show only a limited number of cards as the rest of them get revealed over time leading up to the expansion release? Think I like the past format a bit more, or am I missing something?
Thank you for the response.
My bad, I wasn't playing the game post MSG (just kept an eye out for news, nothing more), so never witnessed what they've done with all those reveals (assumed they kept the same format).
Of course they are allowed to do things differently, I was just trying to understand the new format. Old one appealed a bit more to me, personally, as there was a lot of small teasers and one big stream reveal at the end. Either way, just a couple more weeks before the release, so it's not a long wait. Will be looking forward to the stream.
Last scheduled individual card reveal is Sunday, 8th. So there will be a card dump stream on Monday, 9th, followed by the actual release on Thursday 12th. That's exactly 1 week late compared to last year's first set. I wonder if that's a delay because of the ladder issues that they will catch up with or if the other 2 sets will also be 1 week later compared to last year.
Forest guide looks like a nice friendly guy, i wanna have a beer with him
