New Paladin Card Reveal: Lesser Pearl Spellstone
A new Paladin card has been revealed by Sung0.
A previous version of this article stated this card was named Lesser Fluffy Spellstone and had incorrect tokens. The correct tokens upgrade the Taunt minion to 4/4 and 6/6.

Nope. It counts as 0 healing. Same as if you have a Truesilver Champion and a Blackguard on board and you have full health, the +2 health gain from Truesilver won't make the Blackguard proc. Or if you have 29 health and Ragnaros, lightlord heals you, it will be for +1, not +8.
good card because the Pearl Spellstone is strong against Priest and its versatile, you can hold on to it to get the 2 mana 6/6 against control, or get a 2 mana 4/4 with taunt against aggro
Give paladins some draw on the power level of Solemn Vigil and some value cards compared to Anduin DK level and maybe Control paladin will come back in the meta. It sucks that it dropped from Tier 2 to 4. And this card will just fit in this deck. It's not hard for control paladin to heal for 6 up to turns 4/5 and then play this card. Imagine playing double spellstone on t5 against an aggro deck.
So we are now having hopes on the 2 epics and 2 pally legendaries for this.
Does the spellstone have to be in your hand to upgrade?
If not its the best pally card so far . (lets hope there is something vs OTK Priest ,otherwise healdecks are useless)
They all do, and similarly you can only get one upgrade in a single instance of healing, even if you use a Holy Light and heal for 6. However, Paladin still has a lot of minions that can heal for exactly three, (Earthen Ring Farseer, Benevolent Djinn, Chillblade Champion) which makes me think some form of Elemental Handbuff Paladin is going to be kicking ass in this expansion, until MSG gets rotated next year ofc
The only hope for paladins to be able to content a RazaPriest is some broken AF legendaries and epics which are yet to be revealed. There's a golden lion to be revealed next Saturday, I hope it's the paladin legendary.
If paladin had more consistent draw, i.e. gurantee this in their hand earlier than later, this would be fantastic, obviously a 2 mana 6/6 taunt is great. The downside is paladin healing currently (in terms of being 3 health or more) is limited to just a few cards, though it wouldn't be hard to tech in some other cards for this purpose. So you aren't guranteed to always have your 2 mana 6/6 taunt, it might be situational, and thus it would be kind of a dead card in hand for awhile. But as always who knows what the meta paladin decks will be
I still don't understand these spellstones:
1. If you heal for 2 in one turn, and then for 2 next turn, will it upgrade?
2.If you heal for 6 in one turn by Holy Light , will it upgrade twice or once?
3.If you heal for 2 then or 1 in the same turn, will it upgrade?
1. Yes
2. Once
3. If you mean what i think you mean then yes
Thank you! ^__^
Spirits for Paladin and ot for Priest?
quest pala 2.0
Basically guys it's Thing from Below for paladin.
With the added benefit you can play earlier and have it be weaker, or later and stronger.
Good stabilization tool. Facing aggro, restore some health till you get your board clears. Clear everything and then put up some taunts to start contesting the game.
Strong, but I gotta say, kinda boring.
Lol it looked like a sword based on the unrevealed partial image
I hope we see a draw a spellstone neutral card.
Spellstones are only spells and there aren't any neutral spells.
I assume they meant a neutral card to draw a spellstone
he's saying a minion along the lines of Kabal Chemist
Yes, that's what I meant. Even if you build your deck around spellstones they still have to be in your hand to upgrade which is a pain, but if there was a "draw a spellstone from your deck" minion then you can trigger spellstone upgrades more consistently.
Having this in hand by the time you play Benevolent Djinn.
