Matt Place has revealed two Death Knights and two more collectible cards for a total of four!
- The Druid Hero Power will work with Fandral Staghelm (Source)
- You can't heal your hero if you already have 30 health, so Blackguard won't activate in that circumstance. (Source)

People saying the Druid DK is lame seem to forget you can play it on turn 4 as a Druid. Autowin vs aggro decks.
Turn 2, in theory, no?
Innervate x2 + Coin = 5 + Turn 2 Mana (2) = 7.
Well, yes, but you'd have no hand left. This in token could be a good finisher as you get free minions to pump and 3 attack for 2 on your hero power.
back in the day, we used to summon Dr. Boom!!!
How about that 5/3 weapon with Lifesteal?
How does Druid beat the Paladin Hero Power? If they go for attack, they lose 3 HP every turn. If they go for armour, then two of your hero power beat theirs, just as (Justicar) Paladin beat Justicar Warrior, hero powers alone.
Just to point out that you forgot to mention the 5/3 weapon with lifesteal and 5 armor. Doesnt make it automatically viable but makes it considerally better, and you're considering that the opponent will have the dk in play too, wich many times, they won't
Man, that's not just a 2/2. It's a 2/2 that you NEED to kill. If you let they be you just DIE. Completly dead. For real. Destroied.
It's the best control tool Paladin ever had. Now Control Paladins actually have a win condition. And plus. The win condition of nowadays is to out value, meaning you'll never have the answer for everything on that stage of the game, and with this Crazzy budy Hero that also has an enormous battlecry (not that good for 9 mana, but Lifesteel on a Ashbringger is worht a 7 mana weapon at least, meaning it's not that different because you get 5 armor (1mana) and the new hero power (1mana)).
So you actually will need to think if it's better to kill Tirion or the 2/2.
I'm gonna call you wrong solely on the fact that you evaluate the card based on the imaginary matchups with other DKs, without even considering a lot of factors. You are wrong.
wtf druid deathknight = pure garbage
And ofc we realise which dk hero is favourite for blizzard .......................................

I don't see the Exodia victory happening too much, but this Deathknight is amazing on it's own. For one mana more then Tirion, you get Ashbringer now, the Ashbringer has Lifesteal, you get Five Armor, and upgrade your hero power. This is a good card.
And we got Warlock and Warrior left. I'm looking forward to Warlock's DK. He is the darkest one of all, likes to destroy livings (that's a good summary).
For 10 mana he's gonna be awesome, he should be awesome! Only one day left for the reveal.
i hope death knight warlock be good if not fck you blizzard
Only a sith deals in absolutes
It's gonna be 10 mana battlecry: discard your hand and hero power: discard a random card and deal 2 damage to your hero. Good synergy with queen lana'thel lul
The keyword was abandoned. Inspire cards are slow as shit since they only work when you use your Hero Power, something that costs 2 mana and can only be used once per turn. There were very few good Inspire cards, like Confessor Paltress.
All cards with inspire were either weak, or broken. I actually think they mentioned somewhere, that they're not planning to print new inspire\joust cards, it was one-expansion thing (probably like adapt is).
Matt got a black eye oWo... don't work for blizzard.
