I need to see golden play dk.
So, they released a bunch of really crappy minions with divine shield synergy, while the most influential Paladin card in expansion (well, at least it supposed to be influential, it's a new type of card and legendary) has nothing to do with divine shields... Don't get me wrong, I'm not into buffing "Bubble Pally", I just hate it when they make a ton of epic\legendary cards, which are doomed to be dust, for no reason. It really sucks for F2P players to get these in packs (I know what I'm talking about, I got 2 paladin quests in a row just before recent patch was announced).
On the contrary, the pattern so far has indicated that this is the norm. Look at hunter, one section is devoted to secrets with its own legendary; Professor Putricide. While the other section is devoted to midrange/control with its own legendary hero, Deathstalker Rexxar.
They are just trying to make the meta and, by extension, the class identity diverse, you aren't getting useless cards.
None of the class legendary minions in this set had anything to do with their respective class deathknights. If anything, you should have expected DK Uther to NOT be about divine shield.
They are, but one archetype is always way better than the others, so some cards end up being "must-have", while others see very little play (or no play at all). I don't mind diversity, that would be foolish to do, I just "hate it when they make a ton of epic\legendary cards, which are doomed to be dust".
Spiders and scarabs suck, quest suck, jade will die, aggro will die.
Bye Malfurion.
what are you even saying with this?
What?!? What am I looking at? This is totally crazy-go-nuts!
Mindbreaker's grin makes sense now, RIP control Paladin
Dies to the weapon equipped with the DK card.
Sure, because it can't be attacked by Ashbringer or the DK's weap.
The weapon that Uther equips as a battlecry kills Mindbreaker...
Both of these cards are absolutely sick.
I think everyone was waiting on the paladin knight and I'm glad to see that they delivered - both thematically and power-wise. I absolutely love this card.
My only hope is that they go back and give these knights secret interactions in naxxramas - Malfurion the Pestilent versus Heigan the Unclean would be legendary.
Wow, just wow. These death knigths are just getting better and better as we go along.
Wait til you see the Lich King legendary card.
I think a lot of people are overrating the Paladin hero power, getting all 4 tokens will be extremely difficult and if you can pull it off, Im pretty sure youre winning the game anyway. Otherwise the DK looks like a great fit into control paladin.
Youthful Brewmaster for what?! Bounce the Horseman to your hand and play all of them on the same turn?
That doesn't work. If you bounce one of them, the turn after you'll get the same one again. You need all 4 of them, not copies of the same one, to work.
i knew the Druid DK would have to be underwhelming because it can get to these high mana cards the fastest
