Knights of the Frozen Throne Card Reveal Bingo
Continuing the tradition of last expansion, we've put together a new bingo card for you to take along your journey through the Frozen Throne reveal period. As usual, we'll have main page updates, all the new cards in our deckbuilder for theorycrafting, updates on our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and of course, polls to give your initial insights into the new cards through the next few weeks.
We're going to assume Ben will laugh at some point, so he remains our freebie.
Current Card
The card has been finished, at least until we get our hands on all the cards.
- We did not see a minion with Vanilla stats which has the Lifesteal keyword. We're unlocking the square anyway due to having cards with just the Lifesteal keyword on it.
- Some of these squares can be filled by multiple minions - we know!
- We'll likely make another line with Unplayable Hero Card.
- Bad Card with Great Reviews always happens, so that will without a doubt be crossed off.
"Give your weapon x" with Vampiric Poison
I don't think you understand the definition of "Pack fillre". Worgen Greaser, Ultrasaur etc are pack fillers
I think Nerubian Unraveler fits in the "Counter to the meta chart". Ceirtanly it's a good tech against Mage
Op arena card check with Plague Scientist
Where's bad discard Warlock cards?
Clutchmother Zavas last expac, Blood-Queen Lana'thel this one.
But they, unless its coming this expac, have yet to implement any meaningful "graveyard" mechanics which is what this archetype has been longing for. I assume this is to keep from diminishing priest's resurrect mechanic which definitely gave priest much needed tools to rescue it from it's rut, but without a number of similar cards for warlock, discard is simply not powerful enough to toss all your cards away without a way to refill (a la cabalist's tome/primordial glyph).
It can be argued that warlock has incredible card draw via the hero power, but deck size is 30 cards, so if you there's only so many resources that can be just thrown away in exchange for what so far as been mediocre burst damage--hardly the same as what warlock used to be able to pull off many expacs ago.
Demon synergy hasn't seen the synergistic bravado of say Beast Druid since Malganis, burst is low, and any spells of significant power cost your health as well. So all you have are a crockpot full of half baked ideas that have no follow-through, thus you have today's Warlock--floundering about with little purpose.
now valanar too
icebreaker doesnt seem that good considering you need to attack with your face to kill the minion, who knows if more cards from the new set will help out
all the cards so far are pack filler. Not a good start.
The warrior weapon seems pretty great. The shaman weapon is also allright if the right synergies are introduced.
I love how Flappy Bird is used as the 'overpowered arena card' when it was probably not even in the top 10 most powerful common/rares in the set for arena.
Maybe to contrast how good is it in arena, and how "meh, average" it is in constructed. The other top cards in arena are great in constructed as awell.
There was no way to know how crippling the feeling would be when that damn bird hits for windfury on turn 3
Actually practically the opposite is true. Flappy is playable in constructed in several archetypes (including token Druid and midrange Hunter) whereas many of the cards that are better, such as Gastropod, Wasp, Volcanosaur, see no constructed play whatsoever.
Edit: Love the downvotes from terrible arena players by the way, keep them coming!
cuz shaman usually get overpowerd stuff, it's just common sense, but hunter...
I think Keleseth qualify as Legendary buildaround.
do you get power creep AND rager when they make a 3 mana 5/3 rager?
Fingers crossed for that Undead Murloc!
It seems that Blizzard is pushing Freeze Shaman instead of Spell Damage Shaman this time.
