Arena play but not constructed
draw 2 1 costs is a 2-3 mana effect
5-2=3
2-3 mana for 3.5 mana worth of stats + 2-3 mana for draw.Seems preety good
good for stats and effect but useless in hunter deck.
hunter deck always is curve stone. The main prob of hunter is lack of card draw. If you skip or get zero 1 drop in beginning of games. Very high chance to run out stream and loses.
It's a good hand refiller to draw your ugly/cute cats, maybe argent squire, maybe the crab if its murloc meta..
In wild you can draw webspinner and it will really help going for a long game
Unfortunatly its not a beast and doesnt have deathrattle synergy either
I think it will see play it helps fill your curve perfectly after 5
Hunter lacks a good t5 play and lacks refueling for long games, this helps with both
Also he definitly deserves the nickname batman, his actual card name is so random anyway
meh...
Gives the Hunter some gas for midgame. After the initial aggro rush fizzles out, refuel with this guy turn 5-7. Cards like Fiery Bat, Timber Wolf, and Alleycat synergize well enough. Actually, maybe just the wolf.
MAKE CONTROL HUNTER A THING PLEASE!!!!!!
I could see this card being played as a means of getting some niche/tech cards without having to top deck them after turn 5. Some possible inclusions: Hungry Crab, Weasel Tunneler, Secret Keeper, Mistress of Mixtures, Shieldbearer (for taunts?), or some other interesting 1-drop. Drawing two cards from your deck is good af, especially when you're thinning out bad potential top decks.
Also, keep in mind that it is a 5 cost minion, meaning it should have approximately 11 stat points. 3+5=8, plus 6 (2 draws, which are typically valued at 3 each), for a total of +3 points above its expected value. Compare to Azure Drake, who is leaving. This is meant to be Hunter's Azure Drake, except instead of spell damage +1, it has an extra draw. Now, unlike Drake, you can't luckily draw Highmane for a turn 6 power play. But, you can guarantee your odds of drawing Highmane on turn 6 are greater than they would be had you played Drake and whiffed on the draw. Furthermore, this minion has 5 health, which ensures it will survive a Snipe, Swipe, Flamestrike, or Truesilver, all of which people who play Drake fear most.
I AM THE NIGHT! I AM VENGEANCE! I AM ... well, you know who I am...
Looking at the art, i assume he is designed to facilitate alot of small dinos? if the hunter quest is something straight forward like" summon x beasts" or " summon X 1 drops" this guy could be ok. Hes not that great in terms of stats, but all hunters have in the 5 slot is Knuckles at the moment so its not like there is competition for the 5 slot
bad for tempo but decent card for value AND you get rid of 2 1 drops in your deck, so you draw better cards later on. pretty sure you can just run one otherwise you have to run more than 5 one drops.
good cards to draw: misstresses, shifter zerus, sir finley, agent squire, secret keeper
It's a bad turn 5 for a play hunters want to use highmane not 1manas on turn 6
Would make more sense in rogue, to turn them into 5/5 with the new quest.
Yeah, but batman has nothing to do in it...
Shifter Zerus and Weasel Tunneler
Game changing...
Weasel Tunneler? Hunter doesn't have time to wait for their opponent to pull that card.
It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you
Gimme dem 1 mana beasts so I can Skill Command face for 10 damage on turn 7.
They keep printing weasel tunneler sinergy. FeelsGoodMan.
