Now all warlock needs is a spell that makes your hero immune for the rest of the turn. Prefferably 1 mana
Well, ever heard of violet Illusionist ?
I know Karazhan disappointed all of us, but that card has potential.
I see a deck with 2x Flame Imp 2x Wrathguard 2x Pit Lord 2x Hellfire 2x Dread Infernal 2x abyssal and two of these.
Suicidelock.....it's PERFECT!
You may want to add one more, Cho'gall.
Emolock bestest
Excellent... Another potential board clear via Kabal Chemist or Kabal Courier for my Control Priest...
(taps fingers together rhythmically)
I think that's kind of the point. Warlock as a class is supposed to have drawbacks involving health and that's also the reason you don't see any Warlock heals. It's kind of the "health drawback class", if you will. It's just part of the class identity.
Actually I wasn't drawing any parallels from WOW. Based on the current warlock card pool, health has always been sacrificed. Take a look at the hero power, Cho'Gall, the new murloc, flame imp, hellfire. Also keep in mind that warlock has very limited healing; the only ones that I recall are drain life and siphon soul. Warlock in HS has always had this aspect and if we want to make sure its class identity remains intact we need consistency.
Fair enough, yes warlock has always had the sacrifice health for benefits aspect to the class. However if they start adding too many of these ways to sacrifice health but no way to recover it, then it kind of defeats the point in my opinion. If you start using even 2 or 3 of these cards plus your hero power then you're going to be dead in a very short amount of time indeed. Now if they introduce a decent heal to compensate, then I'm all for it.
I loved the name!
and then what happened?
Can't just someone write how they fell about the post?
In my opinion, this is the first strong card with "Fel" in its name. Well, we had Fel Reaver but that's neutral. Warlock needed that kind of card.
Happy now?
You said you "loved" the name, which because it's past tense, implies that you no longer love it. Thus he asked what happened.
¿Comprende?
"so Dragonfire POtion was a good idea....what do we do for Warlock?"
"SAME THING!; BOOYA!"
The second iteraton of Ysera Awakens in this expansion.
The first iteration was Dragonfire Potion, which does not hurts players and dragons.
Hallazeal the Ascended just survives its impact with 1 HP, making it a viable form of continous healing if there are minions that have 5 HP (even the damaged minions), But its a Shaman minion, and does nothing in Warlock unless it has been stolen.
...Yahoo esports?
Interesting how all Potions revealed thus far are either 1, 3 or (in this case) 6 Mana. Really liking the aesthetic of having board control tools of the same flavor for various stages of the game.
Something tells me were getting nothing, Blizzard hates Rogue.
..Maybe next year
