I just realised that Cho'gall is really similar to Inkmaster, where in that if you use kazakus potion on both classes you can do it on 7.
Kazakus might've actually just made Cho'gall somewhat viable!
Both of these cards are redonkulous.
Will depend on the other cards. They'll be pretty strong at least until the rotation I think. If mages get some more good spells or minions from this it will definitely make things interesting. It'll be nice to see another competitive mage deck that isn't tempo or freeze.
The art is great
The spell is only free the turn you play the minion.
Not to mention having 2 Pyroblast would void the ability
I can't say anything about this legendary but PogChamp due to the fact that Renomage is my favorite deck in the whole Hearthstone.
Well That settles it, I'm making a reno mage deck. You can play this and Bronzebeard on turn 10 so 2 free spells right? If you managed to get off 2 Kaz plays you could drop 2 10 cost spells back to back. Or a 10 cost kaz potion and a pyroblast. I really like this card.
Ahh, thanks I was curious. Kinda sucks, But you can play manic soul caster and just copy the minion on turn 10 so that's cool. In the off chance you drop this on turn 10 and It lives there's the brewmasters too for more shenanigans. This and Kaz are gonna make a fun deck.
I was hoping Inkmaster Solia would be a great card likeLoatheb (in different way) but noo blizzard has to make it a 7 mana cost.
I'm sure I'll see Murloc Tinyfin coming out of Medivh, the Guardian and Inkmaster Solia in future.
maybe if it had the next spell you cast, period not this turn only costs 0 it would've been good, but it would probably be too op
this is chogul 2.0 which never ever so anyplay, even chogul didnt require the no duplicates..hmm...not seeing this card , just a boring extra 5/5 on a top of a heavy spell you cast this turn in a highlander deck
Except Cho'gall requires health to be payed instead of mana and high-cost mage spells are better than warlock ones on average. No downside for reno decks + much better spell pool to combo with = huge tempo swings. This is what Cho'gall wished he was, will certainly see play in reno mage.
the only 'bad' mage legendary is Flame Leviathan, and its because of the negative drawn mechanic, it simply way too unreliable to almost any other RNG card. Rhonin is not bad he is a great fit to proc archangel as well as any other spell damage decks. Anomalus isn't a stand alone card, it needs to be able to be proc'd at will which give current cards is rather hard for the mana but even still its great to drop down when the oppenent knows that taking the DMG to face is suicide but killing it also loses them the game. And this new card simply put just blew past warlock and priest in their competition as the top kabal class.
I have 3 (!) Anomalus, and this is the first time I heard someone said something nice about this card...
df
i have a bad feeling that the legendary of warlock and priest will have a reno effect as well :3
Maybe Warlock. But I doubt Priest will. Priest isn't really suited to Reno mechanics (already have a lot of healing and priest deck building isn't nearly as flexible as Warlock/Mage is).
Inkmaster Solia it's Cho'gall , almost
Each card in respect to the class is balanced mage has lower stats but gets the better passive which means more for that class while warlock can really use the extra 2/2 stat line and health for the class is a strong mechanic that has positive results in gameplay and with cards like Mal'Ganis and Lord Jaraxxus warlock has meaningfull ways to get past this cost for more value than mage if played right.
