Ok guys no need to bash me. I only asked some thoughts on this. I know how it works just doesnt seem right in my opinion.

Yeah, I don't agree with OP, but why are some of you attacking him as if he was guilty of some crime? Jesus Christ, calm down guys... :(

Cause he seems like a massive troll, a quick trip to his youtube channel confirms that.  Pretty sure everyone is calm, but when you make a claim that doesn't actually make sense, yeah it can tilt some people.  Seems you're trying to swoop in and defend him for the sweet epoints.

It seems that it really doesn't matter what I do, some of you are always going to judge my actions anyways. But the truth it, it doesn't surprise me at all and I was expecting some silly comment like that.

Also, not everyone here is calm as you said. Many people are not calm on the internet, because from behind a keyboard they can show the world how truly malicius they are (usually much more than in real life). They love to attack each other, they love to fight. In order to survive in this enviroment and not lose your mind in the process, one has to draw upon all kind of tactics (for better or worse) and always be prepared for a good battle. The purpose of my post wasn't to collect sweet epoints as you said, but simply to attack those who were attacking OP for pure enjoyment. Of course, I wrote my post with nothing else than good intentions in mind, but in the end, it was an attack nonetheless. The internet is nothing else than a jungle and my dear Dendroid, you should know that already...

Can you say this, in like, less words?

Blizzard is currently giving away a free digital copy of Destiny 2, but when I go to the Gifts tab, it doesn't come up. But it was there a few days ago...

Did they cancel the promotion early or something?

If you've already claimed it, just click on the destiny icon on the left and you should be able to start downloading it. Also, you can use your xbox controller on the PC if you prefer controller > m/kb.

I don't know about anyone else, but I get super pissed when someone feels like they've lost and instead of just conceding the match, they "leave".

Does this irritate anyone else?  I honestly think that if a  player chooses to "leave", it should ding them for more than a one star drop.  Honestly, it's not that hard to just concede the match if you feel you lost.

I get that sometimes there are DC issues, and those should be the exceptions, not the rule.  I could take a hit on my rank points once in a while if I DC and get more than one star  removed for it because it happens so infrequently that it wouldn't be a big deal.

How do you expect Blizzard to be able to differentiate between a DC and leaving the actual game every time it happens?

My qualm, honestly is primarily when a match up is bad for your opponent or you just get a killer starting hand or mulligan.  What does everyone else think?  Shouldn't Blizzard do something about this rather than spending time on useless R&D for Classic cards to be moved into Wild only environments?

Honestly, it's not an issue that needs to be addressed at all, ever.

Not sure if serious. I hope not. I really don't want to have to explain why this is dumb.

posted a message on I can't believe people still playing constructed after all those years
    Quote from formulas666 >>

As someone reached legend rank there times. I can't believe people still playing  constructed & spending crazy amount of money on this game after all these years. I am not talking about newbies and talking about veterans (people who are playing this game more than a year). Constructed is so repetitive, so boring. You play against same three decks over and over and over again.

It's just like any other card game. People enjoy the competition.

In constructed, I feel like most of the time your decisions don't matter. You win or lose based on your opponent's class (rock, scissor, paper) and/or mulligan and first four draws. If my opponent gets the perfect start hand - what you can see in the first two to three turns, i just give up and play another round. I don't care about my rank anymore. Since it's just a random effect that makes you lose (huge win streaks, huge loss streaks) it has nothing to do with skill, so i'm not angry if I lose, its just luck. But also i'm not happy if I win, because I was just the lucky guy then. I can't believe people still play constructed  and reach legend every season without getting fatigue.

There is some skill. You can't just blindly choose cards, throw'em down and expect to win. Expecting what the other player will play ahead of time and playing around it can definitely help. Playing around cards like MCT, Level Up (by keeping the board clean of Silver Hands), holding onto board clears and knowing when to use it, etc etc. Sure, it gets boring, as every card game does over time. This is just how it is.

Arena is the only part of the game which still keeps me going. And I will be playing as long as i'm happy with it. Another good thing is as an Arena player don't need some spend any money on this game, you can always complete daily quests and get enough money for your next run.

Arena is great. Definitely tests deck building skills.

    what do you think guys?

    I think it's fine.

posted a message on Why does T5 seem to really want Juicy Psychmelon in the game so bad?

Is it because it is shiny and new? I can't seem to think of any other reason, but that begs another question; why do new cards seem to not always get considered for nerfs first?

Imo Aviana didn't need the nerf since Juicy Psychmelon was the busted tutor card that drew entire combos. Aviana decks never achieved consistent tier 1 status in wild before the melon's release.

I'm completely baffled why T5 wants this epic card to be left alone and to remain in the game so badly considering that from here on out 7+ mana druid minions will have to forever tiptoe around the design of this terribly busted tutor card.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why T5 doesn't seem to want to nerf this card instead?

The only reason I can think of, is because in any other deck, Juicy Psychmelon is not good and doesn't see play. Otherwise, idk, T5 logic.

posted a message on how should i have played this game ?

I think turn 6 you should've used hunter's mark for the grizzly, then flanking strike that. Kill the Scalehide with your 2/3 Razorfen. Would've allowed you to have the wolf and keep your Razorfen instead of sacrificing it to kill the grizzly. I would've played the Sunwalker over the Green jelly turn 7 and used the Faerie Dragon to trade with the Mana Wyrm. Never wanna leave those up. Fighting for board control and going face when you need to is probably the best thing to do. The earlier choices may have saved you.

Actually without all these dumb fanboys and these events that bring a lot of money i don't think hs would be in a good position. Still no tournament mode, expansions worse and worse, more rng, ladder even more difficult to climb than before, druid is still a joke class with only overpowered cards.. Yep hs is really bored but with all these kids who suck blizzard because this game is their only reason to live i don't think it's going to change. 1/4 of my friend list doesn't play anymore at all and the last guy who got legend for the first time is disconnected for at least 3 weeks, which shows well the state of this game after all.. Can't wait to leave this crap game, probably the best idea i could have

I really dislike the phrase "dumb fanboys". It comes from idiocy without an actual solid argument piece. Who cares about the tournament mode. I mean really, is it making your life that much worse? When it comes, it comes. Stop expecting things to come when YOU want it to. Ladder is more difficult to climb because we no longer have ridiculously one sided brain dead OP decks anymore. Too bad for you I guess.

There's 5 different classes in the Tier 1 spot, sure token druid is on top, but not by much.  Also a resurgence of Warrior this meta when it wasn't relevant for the last 2-3 metas. I'd call that a win.

"Yep hs is really bored but with all these kids who suck blizzard because this game is their only reason to live i don't think it's going to change." Can you come up with something....anything, more intelligent than this? I mean seriously.

People leave the game, get bored with it and play something else. What's new? Does that not happen with any other game? That's a rhetorical question. Don't answer.

Please leave already. Let the door hit you on the way out.

    Quote from Ahiga >>

I know that someone of you will disagree and ok it is fine I am not writing this in order to built a stupid conversation where people write "Cry baby" or other stupid stuffs.

    - Blah blah blah.

I am writing this because I want to built a constructive conversation to think something new or to know your opinions with respect for everyone.

    - Build a constructive conversation? "To know your opinions with respect for everyone". I'm guessing English is your second language. So...i'll let this pass with a -blah blah blah.

In my opinion, Hearthstone is becoming very very bored. The last two expansions were horrible and the game is slowly dying.

    - How long have you been playing Hearthstone? You should know by now that about 1 1/2 - 2 months after an expansion release, the game becomes boring. So just because the last two expansions weren't overly OP with cards like KotFT or KnC, that makes them horrible? They slowed the game/meta down. I'm grateful.

I think that Hearthstone, like now, needs really good ideas. This ideas cannot be only other cards, because the game itself is becoming bored. I would like to see in the next expansion something totally new, something that will change totally the game.

    - You say this but, what experience input can you really give? Are you a game designer? No? Okay then.

For example, I was thinking today, It would be very very cool if Blizzard will add the rings. Yes, like some equip, you have the deck plus the rings, rings can be something like: You have 5 health more, choose one card in your starting hand, you have one card more in your starting hand or something like that. So rings are like bonus, and you will start the game with this bonus.

    - This sounds ridiculously OP for some classes. How can you expect something like this to actually be balanced?

So, in conclusion I don't know if this is a good idea, maybe yes or maybe no, the point is that Hearthstone is not sufficient anymore like it is. He needs something totally new in order to be fun something that will change totally the game.

    - You constantly say "change totally the game" yet don't provide any feasible ideas.

    So, what do you think?

    - I think people need to stop stating the overly obvious of the game "being boring" a month or two after an expansion drops. We all know. There are many threads like this in the past. Stop already.

    Quote from Warnerve75 >>

I just started playing a new mode I call Ladder Roper.

Ladder Roper is when you fire up Hearthbore on your iphone and then sit in front of your PC and start up MTGA.

Pick a control deck...I like the spells are fun so much fun Mage deck.

Hearthbore is so braindead you can literally make a play in 2-3 seconds then rope every turn while PLAYING MTGA!

In two games I literally won 6 count that 6 games in MTGA!

Finishing quests like this and actually having fun while playing another game has never been better!

    Thank you WOTC!!!!

Are you so poor that your computer can't duo monitor Hearthstone AND MTGA? Cool bruh, go play MTGA full time and get off Hearthstone, khnx.

And for the others that can't obviously see this is salt, i'll let you in on a little common sense. It's salt. If it wasn't, he wouldn't keep calling it hearthbore, while attempting to piss off other HS players by roping, while praising MTGA. Easy to figure out, if you think a little.

    Quote from aceplayer >>

1.And what is wrong with cosmetics costing money?

    - Nothing unless they do like what you said and release a lot (big frequency) at a time. Then yeah, no one wants to constantly shell out $50+ every time they release a horde of new hero skins.

People are to much self entitled about cosmetics and things like that. They are not important for enjoy the game and no one really have any right to angry about something like this despite of the price. If someone is so unhappy about it then just vote with his own wallet and not buy.

     Self entitled? What?

    2. You understood it wrong. A base hero power is a hero power that you start the game with no need of a special effect.  The most iminent reason for it to not exist is that it is part of how people identify a class.

You said that Blizzard can print "new base hero powers". Why is that okay? If it's only for newbie players, they won't be able to take into account the already base hero powers that are there when they reach rank 25. Each hero IS identifiable by hero power. Priest heals. Mage has a free 1 dmg ping. Rogues have daggers. How can you not identify a class by their hero power?

But if you give new players time to learn the game it stops to be unreasonable to make they exist since older ones are not so naive.

.3. Same reason as item 2.

posted a message on The new ranks are better to the game than we think!
    Quote from aceplayer >>

At first glance it appears to be just a quality of life change but let's be serious here at look at it again.

How many things we don't have at the game because they would overhelm new players? What if new players would have time to learn about those things when they play other new players?

    Now to the list:

    1. Blizzard can print hero skins at a big frequency now because new players will still face the basic ones most of the time.

No. More than likely if that's the case, they will make the heroes cost money. They still have to cater to non-new players as well.

    2. Blizzard can print new base hero power if they want now because new players will still face the basic ones most of the time.

Again no. Blizzard has to balance the game for everyone involved. Which means, non-new players as well. Also, if they make new base hero powers for just newbies, it'll be confusing when they get to a rank that other players are at, and that base new hero power is gone.

    3. Blizzard can go a little more crazy with card effects because new players will be unlikely to face they before learn the game enough. For example:

    Start of the game:

Show your hero as a random hero of another class for the opponent until you play a class card or use your hero power.

      - This is an adverse affect. Players need to learn what to mulligan for against a certain class.

And the list probably not ends here. Only god knew if blizzard understand this more than the item 1 that they are already putting into use but it still a really good thing.

     Reply in bold.

Good deal with the new bundle? How it's reasonable spend 200-300 $ every 4 month without getting all cards? Still talking about money in this game. Never worth. Packs are like loot box but worse because you need to play. Something is moving in other game, will see.

Only 200-300 $ every 4 months? Jeez. Have you never played Yu-Gi-Oh or MTG? Lol. People spend that much on a few box sets at a time and don't get every card. 'Packs are like loot box but worse' by far is the most ridiculous arguing piece. Are Yu-Gi-Oh or MTG packs considered 'gambling' or 'loot box' but IRL?!?! How are they still in business?! Easy, because it's not a loot box. I'll give it to you f2p people. Comparatively the cheapest of the top 3 card games, and still not happy.

How is a Hearthstone pack different from a loot box? You can buy it for real money and it contains random in-game items of highly varying value. I think those are the essential characteristics of a loot box.

It's been years since I played MtG, but back in the day, while packs were extremely expensive, you would at least get the same number of commons, uncommons and rares from each booster. In Hearthstone, a pack can contain anything from multiple legendaries to 40 dust. Even the worst legendary will give you enough dust to craft an epic of your choice, so getting a legendary is always at least as good as getting any card of a lower rarity level.

Again, are real life card packs considered loot boxes? No. They're not. Hearthstone card packs aren't considered 'loot boxes' because you're guaranteed at least 1 rare in each pack, and at least 1 legendary in about 40 packs. And now, even more so, you don't get repeat legendary cards. So not necessarily 'random'. Loot boxes do not guarantee your odds. You can get trash and not get any item of the highest tier level in that loot box while spending 100$+ dollars, or in some people's cases, 500$+. I've been on the receiving end of loot boxes. Hearthstone packs, just like actual card game packs like Yugioh Or MtG, are not, nor will they ever be, 'loot boxes'.

On-Topic: I think the game is fine. Even when I was F2P, I never complained about not getting heroes for free. It's like those fancy awesome play mats people use for Yugioh or MTG. I never had one but, I never had that kind of money at the time. No one to blame. I honestly think they'll eventually give up Mecha J for free in the future. Maybe like 1-2 years down the road.
