Greetings everyone. I would like to discuss the direction HS has taken regarding the purchasing bundles that have risen lately including Mecha Jarraxus. I started playing on the Blackrock Mountain and i have to say that i really like what is now happening. The no.1 complain regarding giving money into the game is that packs aren't worth it. Recently we have seen many deals like the mammoth bundle the latest frozen throne deal, and many more. Also the preorder bundle has something more than just 50 packs( 20 more or a golden legendary). Some of them have cosmetics locked behind a paywall like Jaraxxus and MAYBE Sir-annoyo. As a result you see everyone say Blizzard do cash grabs, they are bad for locking things behind a pay wall and i am wondering: Isn't this what we have been asking for? More value for the money we pay? Having to pay 20 USD for 20 packs and lets say a Hero is great incentive and rewarding( Ok i admit Mecha Jaraxus should be available even with the 50 USD preorder). Another question is should F2P players complain about a paywall regarding a cosmetic? Should F2P players have the same things like someone who spends money in the game? Should we go crazy that we can't get a CARD BACK because it needs 2500 bits on Twich? It doesn't affects us and we have other events in parallel so no big deal here. Also keep in mind that when The Grant Tournament came out we got nothing for free. Not even a pack. Not a single event. Now look at the things you get over a year. So the true question here: is HS really dying by looking at Blizzard's marketing choices? Do people who pay for this game like the recent changes or no? Is the whole negativity a result of all the F2P players who can't have everything for free? Or do you believe there will always be negativity by both F2P and P2W because people are never satisfied no matter what? I am open to a discussion whatever your opinions may be.
Nice wall of text you have there. Maybe work on making it legible next time and I will bother to read it.
It's like you never read a book. Maybe work on reading the thread post before commenting in a thread. You know. So you can contribute instead of just passive aggressively dissing someone. Here, try this: Hey OP, interesting point, but next time try seperating your ideas into paragraphs. Makes it much easier to read.
To the OP: Yeah, that's a good point that flies over most people's heads. Most of the time, packs are a horrible deal. Sometimes, they make better deals (e.g. bundles). That's a good thing. Sometimes, those better deals have an added bonus (cosmetics). That's even better. That's a perspective most people don't consider. The whole HS culture of cosmetics having to be free is something I don't get; many games offer cosmetics for money, and it's harmless.

Have you ever read a book? They organise it on the page so your eye wants to read it, not dump it in one huge unidentifiable lump. These are the very basics and you're being so disingenuous you're pretending it doesn't even exist just to burn a guy. His points are strong but he should have spaced it out, I can't believe this conversation is even happening, this is the very basics of sentence and paragraph structure.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.

I will go crazy if they release another promotion like Tyrande where they put it behind some kind of cross-promotion thing that I can't just buy.
I'm cool giving Blizzard money directly for things but I'm not some trained monkey to jump through hoops, they can eff right off.
While I don't agree with alot of things blizzard do these days, the problem is so many people expect to get everything for nothing and that just isn't going to happen, it's crazy how mad some people get about a simple hero portrait, I mean look how full retard that guy went over the mecha jaraxxus bundle, people are always going to want stuff for free. lol

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

Dude, I agree, that's why I told the OP to try organizing the text into paragraphs. But there are larger paragraphs that long, it's not that uncommon, especially in more mono-logue-like passages. My point is if he can't bother to read something like that, he can constructively inform the OP to write better (and not diss him) or not bother contributing to the thread topic at all.

Yes this was a shitty move. I managed to get Tyrande but i missed Kadgar so i am on the same train.
Said it before and I'll say it again, Scaphandre is a Communist. He admitted openly in his thread about this topic that he has the money but is refusing to spend money to get what he's complaining about out of protest. Too fucking entitled to see clearly.
Just because you want something doesn't mean you should be able to have it on your terms. That is so fucking entitled, and it's hilarious that a Communist can't understand this when it's a solid part of their identity.
Whenever these discussions come up, I've been known to dive in. However, I've not shared with you all the best pepper post of all. And that is this . . .
Every single thing Blizzard has done leads to the conclusion that payers have staggeringly more influence on the game than the f2p crowd. It never ceases to make me giggle that no matter how many "MOAR FREE SHIT!!!!" posts go up, Blizzard will continue to act like the publicly traded business it is and work to help the bottom line.
If you have a constructive idea, you might get listened to (Whizbang is a great example). If you're bitching and threatening to quit a game you don't pay into anyway, you have absolutely zero sway over the financial decisions being made. As it always has been, so should it be.
Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
Good deal with the new bundle? How it's reasonable spend 200-300 $ every 4 month without getting all cards? Still talking about money in this game. Never worth. Packs are like loot box but worse because you need to play. Something is moving in other game, will see.

He is being paid by Valve to promote Artifact on every thread he can, of course he'll be salty and negative.

When you can't form a legitimate counter-argument but still need to advocate for Artifact
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
The only rational response, to Blizzard indefinitely postponing the most important new QoL feature for years, is to throw more money at them.
