Played Magic back in revised/4E/Ice Age, got out around Visions. Got back in to MTGO a couple years ago, pretty much exclusively Pauper. Still have the account and a buncha cards but haven't played much - if anyone thinks Hearthstone constructed meta is stale they should be glad they don't play MTGO Pauper.
Picking something not generally a power card: Master of Disguise in Priest or Shaman. Yes, I'll stealth my Northshire Cleric/Sunwell/Mana Tide/Flametongue Totem...
I decided that I had to beat Patchwerk down with his own axe, so I played Priest with 2 mind vision, 2 ooze, and a bunch of cheap taunt, lifegain stuff, and so on. Fun!
For Grobulus, Gurubashi Berserker plus healing is pretty bomby.
I took Thad down with a handlock (variant with Jaraxxus, probably not very standard); was lucky enough to have a soulfire in hand to take down the 7/4.
I figured this deck would be lucky to go 3 wins and was just hoping to have a bit of fun with VanCleef, and then it goes off on me and gets me to 12-2. Are you kidding me?
I went hunter for horsemen, pally for Gothik, priest for razuvious. The Gothik deck had tons of pumps and other tricks to let my ghost guys attack. Hunter deck packed two freeze traps, two alchemists, two hunter's mark to help get rid of the dudes early; almost died because I drew hunter's mark, unleash the hounds, hunter's mark in a row after killing his 3 guys; fortunately he drew empty as well and my hero ability did the job.
I pulled a golden Leeroy shortly after spending the dust on a normal one; I would have dusted it right away except that Leeroy seems like a prime nerf-bat target. In the meantime, getting the final hit with golden Leeroy feels pretty nice when it happens.
If deathlord becomes very big, Alchemist is an interesting counter for those classes that don't have hard removal. I do think 2/1 heavy decks are going to recede for a while due to Unstable Ghoul - not sure what I'm going to do with my paladin rush deck.
Kings sounds like a plan. May drop the juggler, who is kind of underwhelming in practice since I don't get him plus violet teacher crazyness at the same time very often. Thanks all.
So this is my secret keeper/auctioneer "miracle Paladin" deck; built off of using the terrible 1 mana paladin secrets to land and quickly pump a secret keeper, questing adventurer, or Violet Mage army. The deck has gone from flat terrible to "occasionally works in casual" when I put the Wild Pyromancers in; any ideas for other improvements? Assume no legendaries.

There were a couple different TSR CCG's - Spellfire flopped, so they tried another one whose name I don't remember - something Wars.

Am not mainly playing HS and SolForge.

Hell, Rogue with Gorehowl (or Warrior with Deadly Poison, for that matter).

Mind vision is hilarious vs. Patchwerk heroic. (If you can set it up.)

+1 for the priest deck. Mine wasn't quite the same but close enough. Did all 45 damage in 2 turns with one Gurubashi Berserker.

How does aggro/combo with *12* 3-drops do that?

Crazed Alchemist could easily see play if Deathlord starts to be seen everywhere. Alchemist/trade loot hoarder, profit!

had some fun with echoing ooze and defender of argus - made me feel all shaman-y
