The caution with this card is that is not a real 3 mana card... it is a 3+at least 2 mana card.

Xzirez, let me tell you sir, you are a master deck-builder. That is the only thing I will say about this creation.

posted a message on What is your opinion on Freeze Mage?

For me it is simply the worst deck you can encounter in ladder. It is absolutely boring and non-interactive. I like midrange/board control decks; since I think that is the essence of HS. But this deck it's just an abuse of sloppy Blizzard design. It is simply too many freeze and AoE spells, frost nova + doomsayer is one of the most frustating combos in the game, and emperor just make all this just way too stupid and disgusting.

I hope standard help a bit with a more diverse ladder, I just can't stand facing one secret pala after the other, stupid brokeback druids, face decks (shaman and hunter), and of couse, when you have a rest from that, freeze mages...

Really, don't you miss Keeper of Uldaman in this deck TalionHS? For sure you can cut at least one of those Southsea Deckhands or Consecration, since this is an aggro/control deck. Interested in knowing your view.

It seems that you are a new player, but Quartermaster, though it can be very good, is just too inconsistent for the likes of this deck. Quartermaster needs a slower, midrange/control build, and a more token centered style. You almost never want to make tokens with this deck since you have many cheap cards, and furthermore, you have the possibility of Sir Finley enter into the game. If you don't have Leeroy I recommend you to use Arcane Golem, to mantain the "spirit" of the deck.

Of course try the Quartermaster and draw your own conclusions. :D

...my deck is currently sitting at 70% with 55 games. I'd be at like 88% had I not faced Priests, and I just want to improve.

Damn that is more than a pro WR!! You don't need help, you need to start helping others lol. What range of ranks did you play trough all those 55 games, I am curious.
And yes, I agree, midrange is not so simple as LightBeing suggested. Requires a lot of planning to work well. Priest and paladin are my most played classes so far, and both are not simple in the control style.
If you play in NA maybe I can add you to my friend list if you want to. Like to share ideas with other interested players :)

St Cecil gave important tips imo. Flood them is the way and you have to play with a lot of patience. Outvalue them. Justicar is essential for this match-up, and saving your clears. Try to trade efficiently rather than overcommit to clear the board, you can receive a lot of damage and stay safe since they normally don't have any burst. Bait their AoE and perceive when they are without them, and know when counterattack, with shredders and keepers; coghammer or Loatheb also can switch the tempo. If they lose the board without the AoE, you can close the game very rapidly. Also remember that keeper can deal with uncomfortable threats as Ysera or Twilight Guardian. Save equality for a big juicy board. Of course try to deny card draw from cleric as much as you can. They tend to have clunky hands with few cards in hand, so learn to read them.

    These are some thoughts, cheers!

I wish i had Justicar Trueheart, that card is awesome.

I disenchanted a lot of my golden cards earned in arena and treasure chests at the end of the season to craft her and Tirion. It is definitely worth it.

I use along with Lay on Hands, one Acolyte of Pain and one Azure Drake. That almost guarantees me all the draw I need since this is a slow control deck.

I didn't mind playing against aggro but I do mind playing against those freeze mages/fatigue mages/fatigue warriors. Those decks are just so non-interactive that I don't have any fun playing them. Playing huntards, tempo mages and secretdins can be frustrating too, but at least they don't freeze or remove your whole board all the time. You can at least have some fun interactions, while there is no possibility of having that against freeze mage.

    Why Reno Jackson, why?

I feel you bro! Same here. Hate freeze mages more than face hunters or secret paladins. I love midrange/control decks, they are the most enjoyable HS games for me. But don't blame Reno Jackson for that. I have no problem if the guy cures for full health, what I can't stand is total lack of interaction.
