    Quote from Skyi101 >>

Yep, blizzards original post read as if you get screwed if you have a current run. But it's actually 2* tickets. I've got a 7-1 run right now and I'll push until I have 2 loses or 11-1 and stop.

11-1 and 2 free runs is way better then a 12win and 1 free run.

     Whaaaa-?
You would take 11 wins over 12 wins and a free run? (Since you don't have to cash the win in straight away...)

I'm just so bored to face Razakus priest in 30-40% of matches. I feel desperately sorry for the inadequate little fucks playing it who can't work out a way to build their own deck. It will get nerfed soon and the ******** netdeckers will have to copy something else. Fuck Blizzard for letting the cancer ruin seasons and fuck all the tryhards copycatting it. So. Fucking. Pathetic.  Your rank means nothing Razakus priest pilot.

This is an unfixable problem. The internet lets people share deck ideas, and even if people couldn't use Hearthpwn and other fansites to share they would just take ideas from opponents that defeat them.
    However, when you start equating the best performing deck as "cancer" in each meta you soon find out that most decks that have ever existed then would be considered "cancer" and you would be left with almost nothing else. Case in point;
    Razakus Priest
    Jade Druid
    Patron Warrior
    Christmas Tree Pally
    C'Thun Warrior
    C'Thun Druid
    Tempo Rogue
    Miracle Rogue
    Mech Mage
    Freeze Mage
    Quest Mage/Exodia Mage
    Control Warrior (Tank-up version)
    Undertaker Hunter
    Combo Druid
    Dragon Priest
    Reno Lock
    Reno Mage
    Reno Priest
    Midrange Shaman
    Smorc Shaman
    Face Hunter
    Egg/Token Druid
    Handlock
    Zoolock
Tempo Mage (With & w/o Yogg)
    Secret Mage
    Pirate Warrior
    Control Priest
    DMH Fatigue Warrior
    Anyfin Pally
    Murloc Aggro Pally
    Charging Giants Warrior (Beta)
    And many more...
Notice how players always call tier 1 & 2 decks in every single meta "cancer", without fail? I guess there has never been a season or meta of HS that has not ruined the game then. :P
Except that barely a handful of those decks were ever truly concidered to be "Cancer" decks.
Namely: Pirate Warrior, Jade Druid, Quest Rogue and Face Hunter.  (And recently Razakus Priest)
As these were decks that shaped the meta around them and were considered decks to basically either "Play" or forced to "Tech Against".
For reference, if you want to know whether a deck was truly considered a "Cancer Deck" - and not just claimed to be by a salty player or two who lost an outside edge game against Dragon Priest or some rubbish - the easiest way is to compare against cards that Blizzard have nerfed to fix the problem.
Most of the decks (not all, perhaps, but most) were not "nerfed" due to being overpowered and too striong for the meta to cope...

What is the difference between Keleseth Rogue and Keleseth Nightmare?

The Keleseth Rogue deck focuses more on smaller minions (a bit like Zoo), whereas the otehr one is much more of a lategame control deck that focuses on big minions and face-stomping. :-)

I don't know about you, but I definitely feel like this is turning out to be the meta where Rogue (and Priest of course) has it's chance to properly shine in terms of flexibility.

I always hated Rogue decks back in the day - both to face off against and to play (I found them very 1-dimensional and dull).

But it seems as though the sheer number of different play styles that Rogue can offer now makes it a really excellent (and formidable class).

    Miracle Rogue
    Monster Rogue
    Keleseth Rogue
    (Just saw a) Malygos Rogue
    Mill Rogue
    Weapons Master Rogue
    Burglar Rogue
    Keleseth Nightmare
Jade Janks (This is one of the strongest Rogue decks I have made / played!)

When you compare this to a number of the other classes, it makes you realise just how limited some of the other ones are. Many (if not admittedly all) of the above archetypes are very much viable at present - I've play tested most apart from Malygos (don't have her) and Weapons (don't have the ones I need) - at least, in the upper non-legend ranks, they appear to be.

I guess I just never thought I would see the day where the majority of current decks in my box appear to be variations of Rogue.
We live in strange times! Heh!

I'm always in 2 minds about the Hydra. It may have supremely good stats for the cost, but it's downside is reaaalllly awkward to play around at times. And there's often lots of ways to regret playing it.

But then, it can also come out and destroy your opponent. So I dunno. It's such an awkward card to play!

LOL. I've just been messing around with Frost Lich Jaina Kazakus Inkmaster Solia mage deck in rank 5, went up against a legendary card back razakus priest. He has made A LOT of really dumb plays, missed a lot of damage, but still won because turn 5 Raza. What a time to be alive

Just some more empirical evidence that legend doesn't mean jack shit
In that case it seems redundant to show off your previous legend ranks in your signature.

No, because a lot of people still associate the ''achievement'' with skill and knowledge of the game. Besides, I've talked about legend meaning virtually nothing plenty of times, and doing that without proof that you've reached legend makes someone confronting you about it inevitable. So  to prevent that hassle it's better to put it in my signature
     Fair and valid point. :-)
Translated: "Legend is only an 'achievement' if I do it. If anyone else does, it's pointless and meaningless..."
    XD
*Makes a note to find a "screenshot" of a legend rank to prove I am a highly skilled and knowledgeable player... *

posted a message on Terrible drawing luck

Psychologists call this “external locus of control.” It’s a kind of fatalism, where people believe that they can do little or nothing personally to change their lives. Because of this, they either merely hope for the best, focus on trying to change their luck by various kinds of superstition, or submit passively to whatever comes—while complaining that it doesn’t match their hopes. Most successful people take the opposite view. They have “internal locus of control.” They believe that what happens in their life is nearly all down to them; and that even when chance events occur, what is important is not the event itself, but how you respond to it.This makes them pro-active, engaged, ready to try new things, and keen to find the means to change whatever in their lives they don’t like. They aren’t fatalistic and they don’t blame bad luck for what isn’t right in their world. They look for a way to make things better. Are they luckier than the others? Of course not. Luck is random—that’s what chance means—so they are just as likely to suffer setbacks as anyone else. What’s different is their response. When things go wrong, they quickly look for ways to put them right. They don’t whine, pity themselves, or complain about “bad luck.” They try to learn from what happened to avoid or correct it next time and get on with living their life as best they can.

No one is habitually luckier or unluckier than anyone else. It may seem so, over the short term (Random events often come in groups, just as random numbers often lie close together for several instances—which is why gamblers tend to see patterns where none exist). When you take a longer perspective, random chance is just . . . random. Yet those who feel that they are less lucky, typically pay far more attention to short-term instances of bad luck, convincing themselves of the correctness of their belief.

What else am i supposed to do other than troll him?

Hmmm. Well, you could "not" troll him and be helpful instead?
(I know, crazy ideaz be cray-cray, right?) :-P
When you troll someone, you help no-one. It only makes others annoyed and less likely to ask you for help with anything actually important later on. ^_^

Now, you're not incorrect that luck of the draw is a fundamental concept of the game - that's granted.
But see beyond the complaint here and understand the real problem. This chap is looking for (essentially) a sanity check, that there is not some underlying mechanic working against him, conspiring to make him fail.
Short answer (to the OP) : there isn't. It's dumb luck and it happens. You'll find better days :-)

Don't get me wrong though - my own initial reply to you was just as troll-y as well (for which I apologise, but you know: fish and barrels, etc! Heh!). Perhaps we should all try and offer a sympathetic ear when people are feeling a little salty.
God knows this game can make even the lubberest of landlubbers at least a wee bit sea-salt-induced...!

posted a message on To build or not to build Mill Rogue deck

    Yes it is.
Though you will need to tech in some specific cards such as Skulking Gheist, etc, to deal with the anti-mill mechanics.

There are some good mill decks out there at present (although Dead Man's Warrior is probably near the top  of the pile, but Rogue is still viable)

Allow me to correct you: those words are spelt "Get" and "Good".
There is also a comma before the word "kid".
At least you included a full stop at the end, so I guess there is still some hope for your education.
On that note, how are things at school these days? Are you looking forward to moving up to Secondary School in a few years?
