On my experience their quest is usually completed on turn 4. But druid also completes on turn4 a(with coin on t1), lackey shaman on 5. And shaman quest reward is much-much stronger, after quest complete it's just demolition with that double battlecry lackeys. Also if rogue will become dominant - cwar will start farm them easily.
isnt this only good though if you can cheat it out ?
since to play this and a spell would take 10 mana. why not just play the spell ?
is the only real benifit is that you technically get a 5/5 attached to your spell ? but its still at the cost of two cards.
i dont see this card realistically living to your next turn in many cases. also other then pyroblast, are there even any cards worth playing along with this ?
It changes permanently. So you can play coin+Naga on t4 and Yog box on t5
I see the issue with this quest that with current card pool it is not consistent. Right now tempo rogue using blink fox and Hench burglar as the only burgle cards. So quest actually will not be completed in 50% of games. You can also add 2x 1 Mana spell. But anyway 6 cards is not so much when you need draw 4 of them to activate quest
Looks like you are substituting too much cards compared to primary. 25 cards should be core in all 3 decks. And you are changing tracking, kill command, 2x rat traps, hounds, scalehide, highmane. 7 cards total. I suggest you to check all 3 decks online to be compatible with specialist format.
Hi guys! Just going to play some local tournament in Specialist format and I'm going to take control warrior. When I was playing ladder with this deck I had no problem with any aggro decks or mirrors. The only exception was Mech hunter, both slow and aggro versions are real pain for cw.
So I want to find some counter cards to make hunter matchup a bit better. I can substitute 4-5 cards, what can it be? I suppose 2x owls should be good, right? Also is replacing Dyn-o-matic to E.M.P. Operative a good idea?
By such changes we can also target Mech-paladin which is not so good match for CW too...
Quite interesting deck. It should be good against aggro like any other miracle mage. But also it has some endgame threaths with kadgar and antonidas. Worth to try :)
Currently at rank 3 with warrior, i've found that mossy horror and baron geddon are very strong vs token Druid, also they are useful in others matchups too.
Yeah, Geddon is very strong against token druid, it is now staple in my cw, as it is quite good against any other aggro too.
Geddon comes right after t8 twinspell and makes druid play suboptimal next turns, forcing him to remove it or play big minions from portal. So you have free turns to play herocard or draw, to be prepared for next tokent waves. And sometimes druid just conceeds when see Geddon on table :)
What do you think about -1 Crowd Roaster +1 Alexstrasza
Alex is very slow don't you think? As a heal I don't think Alex will save you against aggro. You can use it for lethal if you have 2 giants in the board, but I can't remember a single time that I had 2 giants and lost the game. It's just win more.
I'm eating such mages for breakfast with control war. The only way they can win is t4 giant into conjuring if I didn't get shield slam or execute. In any other sceanario this is just free win for me.
Usually I beat any warior after their second brawl. There's not enough removal for warrior.
Warrior even doesn't need double brawl in this match. It is needed only for kadgar + power of creation. Against everything else omega devastators do the work.
You don't even need Khadgar to outvalue warrior. Double power of creation, double conjurer's calling, and you can discover 3 more of those spells. And then you have astromancers, double giants, double drakes, crowd roasters. It's just a matter of aplying the right pressure and not overextending. Warrior lacks card draw too.
Well, actually I see HSReplay shows that kadgar-dragon mage has very good winrate against cw. As for me I have just very low games sample on my rank3-rank2 against such mage now. Something like 3-1 or 4-1 in my favor. But you may be right and overall this deck may be strong against cw if statistics says that :)

Any proof, winrates, match history or are we just supposed to believe that you didn't pull all the above out of your ass and slapped 'tier S' on it for no reason?

BTW druid sucks, it runs out of steam so easily.

Is this completes the quest? If so, will be great to include quest into Naga big spell mage

Big spell mage best friend. This will surely be a core of some t2-t3 deck. 5 Mana yog box or power of creation or any aoe are really strong

Well, pharao cat and Bazar mugger can make quest more consistent, but I doubt that such deck will be stronger than regular mech-Hooktusk tempo rogue

They need to consider that Specialist format is failed attempt. Single class with sideboard tournament mode just will not work in HS.

Thanks for the advices guys, I think I'll stick just with double owl option.

Calm down, this is just another clickbait topic.
