it can be playable in sort of "miracle" DH deck, which will focus on cheap spells, Questing Adventurer, Kaeltas to activate 0 mana Inner Demon, Skull of Guldan and Metamorphosis. In case meta will be aggro-centric, this is a good anti agro tool.
Shaman weapon should really enable control shaman in the meta, at least as decent tier2-3. The problem is that "Hirek the bat" still exists with a large chance to be summoned after earthquake ))
That badboy is 8 mana, and Earthquake is 7, so we're safe :)

I played pure control warrior for the last two days when realised that the ladder is full of hunters. And yeah, shaman is bit unfavored for me even if I'm playing 2 plagues and 2 brawls for their endgame. But it's ok. CW always struggled against midrange board centric decks. And situation for warrior is not so bad, if im able to curve into Boom on t9-t10 without loosing board it's mostly a win for me
I hope they taking into consideration that anubisath rogue is too strong against any midrange and control deck and that some other cards will require tweaks too
I play Galakrond Shaman and I had to add Witch's Brew. problem solved. With Electra Stormsurge it's insane. I also have two Lifedrinker. When you play against Face Hunter focus of controlling the board do not hesitate to play Galakrond, the Tempest on turn seven whatever the upgrade is (you usually have the 2 4/4 rush but getting all the upgrades is totally doable) and Get all the taunts!!
same for me. so I switched to nearly pure quest shaman (it runs only 4 galakrond cards: double-invokers, kronx and galakrond itself) and my winrate went fine again. quest with lackeys, sandstorms and mind controllers are so cool against aggro.
updated: bad newz boyz.. I played with quest shaman for another hour-two, and actually face hunter is really bad mutchup for him. However good-old taunt warrior seems counter current anti-meta quite well :)
Quest shaman with galacrond package (6 cards) is crazy strong. Going on really long winstreak at moment :)
Which invoke cards do you use
Freeze spell x2, elementslist x2, kronx, galakrond. Btw quest HP + elementalist is already full 4x invoke of galakrond, so maybe even frost invocation can be cut too

Well, with shs double Barov also cost 8 Mana.

Will be nerfed to 3 or maybe 4 Mana.
But most of all shadowstep will go to HoF

I have a good success with Control Warlock, really strong against all that midrange and aggro decks.
The only change is that I'm running 2x Tour Guide instead of Vectus and 1 Syphon, meta is more aggro-centric now

23. Lorekeeper Polkelt
It's crazy strong card. With gala rogue you can topdeck galakrond and then draw and discount your most heavy cards.
Druids Izera portals can be summoned right next turn (they all at 9 Mana)
Quest warlock will discount his heavy cards with HP
Demonhunter may topdeck both guldan skulls and Altruis

I really going to try DH, but first days it will be mirror-matches mostly. So I think I'll start with libram-pure-paladin first :)

Are you playing one brew or 2x?

Never loose single game to hunters yesterday with good'ol taunt control warrior. But it's pretty boring, no single new card in deck :(
