posted a message on Certian Mage GvG Cards need nerfing

Goblin Blastmage is really too much...

Just imagine if any other class could get a 3/4 minion that does 4 damage split randomly if you control a mech and all of this costing 4... Yeah it would be great! But Mage gets a 5/4 minion...

Unstable portal: Seems ok to me. Yeah Mages can pull some big/awesome minions out of it from time to time, but they also get some really crap ones.

Chugger: He is ok, you don't need a lot to be able to smash him.

I think all the problems could be solved if instead of entering a play mode, starting a game on ranked just went directly to the victory screen and credit the win towards the rewards.

With a chance to unlock all the previous card covers while we are at it. =D

why is it fun against druid?  cause of the hero power?

Pretty much, some tend to play using the hero power to complete the damage for some minion trades, some even run cards to get attack and shield, constant freezing prevents what they need to kill your lesser minions while you can build up your own board. Just a "soft lock" (at non-ranked battles) and personally i love the "Chugg chugg" sound when attacking. =P

Funny, I don't think I've ever lost against Warrior while playing Mech Mage. They are the easiest class to handle, considering you literally freeze their early game.

Snowchugger? The little guy is funny, specially against Druid. =P

If you think you can compare Hunter Hero Power to the Priest one, and you even deduce that it means by MY LOGIC Priest the most broken class, you're hopeless. Hint: This has to do with your logic, not mine.

And you dare say your "logic" in parentheses, oh the irony...

Hunter's power has no effect on the board unless you drop that new minion for that, mage's power can affect the board but with only one damage, Warrior's and Priest's powers can deny Hunter's power if we can't compare the powers how will we discuss the said powers? We will just insult the powers of the heroes we don't like to play?

Again, your "awesome" suggestion to fix the "stupid" hero power would just create a poor Shaman, and still i'm the hopeless here...

I don't see a problem with any hero power, each one took a lot of consideration from the developers and simply because one of class is more aggressive it doesn't make it the most broken or stupid as you put, it just sets a play style that is favorable taking into account the cards we have in the game.

@Xzirez: I can't see OP cards that are exclusive to Hunters, and the face/aggro play style can be played not only with Hunter, the thing is that some popular netdeck builds, specially the cheap ones, will always shows up and people will rush to build it in order to win. The fact is that people hate to lose in general and they were losing a lot to Hunters recently has nothing to do with some cards being OP. I see players with a poor vision of the game losing and putting the blame on others rather than trying to improve their decks and their skills... Almost everyone goes "netdecking" to copy a deck, only a few will look at the lists to study the aspects and flaws of the decks in the current meta...

posted a message on How is my Mage?

I don't like Mind Control Tech i don't see it as something worth it's own "weight" besides being a 3 mana 3/3 minion...

If you are playing aggro it is your enemy that will rush to make trades with your minions. He is the one under pressure so i can literaly see this card being stuck on your hand, or entering in battle for no reason because your enemy simply doesn't have four minions because of the trades he is doing to maintain himself in the game long enough to turn the table.

And if you are playing control you can hold back to allow your enemy to build his board until you can use it, but seriously... Random minion? Really? Ok, even if you get something good out of it i'm not convinced that you can't put something better to help you to maintain the control of the battle against more situations.

Anyway, i just don't like this card for these reasons, BUT, even if you agree with me do not dust it since you get little to nothing and this wouldn't help you to get any good card. Maybe it will find a place in a future build of yours.

In the overall ask these questions to yourself: What is the point of your deck?(To win and probably have some fun.)  What are you traying to accomplish? (The victory, that's easy!) How are you trying to achieve the victory? Aggro? Control? Mix of both?

You need to find what is solid for your objective, your minions are not bad, their mana costs have a nice theorical progression, but do you get trouble with it very often? Like pulling the heavy guys and making your hand unplayable at the very first turns? Or do you get all the fast little guys out and soon you run out of cards? Stop and think about it... What is the most consistent amount of mana to play your cards? It seems that you try to open with some threats very earlier, but maybe as the turns keeps passing you lose, considerably, the power and starts to drop some slow/defensive minions and later some legends in the hope that you will keep the advantage and eventually win.

Well, i'm not trying to "insult" your deck or anything, but you described poorly your bad results with it and i'm only making assumptions of what i think could go wrong and hoping that you start to watch closely for what is going wrong since you said that you try your best to play smart and all. Some suggestions to you to consider:

    - 1 Mind Control Tech + 1 Arcane Nullifier X-21 <- This guy holds a lot with his nice protection and does have a fair attack, faster than Belcher and it is a Mech to get/generate more benefits.

    - 2 Sludge Belcher +2 Tinkertown Technician <- Drops at 3 manas (After almost all your Mechs) as a 4/4 giving you a Spare part, how can someone not use him?

    - 2 Water Elemental + 1 Goblin Blastmage and + 1 Arcane Intellect

Well, i hope this helps you.

Just get rid of the stupid hero power, make it "Summon a random Beast" 1/1 Snake; 0/2 Turle, Taunt; 1/1 Boar, Charge, dies at the end of the turn

And you'll have a low-tier Shaman... Not really viable.

While you call Hunter's hero power stupid we could compare it to the Priest hero power that works to heal the hero and tha minions... So by your "logic" Priest is the most broken class of the game. Just saying...

I'm more the guy who wants more cards instead of changing the few ones we already have. The main reason they make some cards so aggressive for Hunter, for example, is that it fits the class lore (not that a Sniper/Trapper Hunter couldn't play control), but so far if you take the number of class cards we have you can see that we still need new cards for each class. I sincerely hope for a new adventure or expansion to come soon, it would introduce more options to play and also changing the Meta with more fun and viable options.

posted a message on Help to make Midrange Mechadin become Legend!

You are welcome, this game is quite simple in the overall, but it also have room for some creative tricks if you have extra effects, like the ones you can get with the Spare parts. The classes that can get more benefits with it, from a personal view, are Mage (Sorcerer's Apprentice and Mana Wyrm) and Rogue(Combo cards, bounce effects, Stealthy) as for neutral cards Questing Adventurer also gets more bonus with it.

In the worst case you'll get an "useless" card "stuck" on your hand, but it is a free card with little to zero negative impact and believe me: sometimes having even one card on your hand makes your enemy thinks twice before playing his best minion (Play expecting the worst). But i've won some battles, from opponents conceding, just by cheer pressure of my board and the number of unused Spare parts posing as class cards in my hand.

Another Sword of Justice would be cool to make the deck less dependent of Hobgoblin. Have you thought about Equality to have some kind of board control, if your main combo didn't came, since it enables good trades specially with your hero power and Argent Squire?
