I got 10 wins with Rogue. Auto Barber was cool, that Sword Oil was nice as well.
Bomb Lobber did a great job! It is a better Stormpike Commando.
Clockwork Giant was the better of bad epics & it just didn't work!
I had the chance to pick Bomb Lobber during my draft but skipped over him due to his stats but he was played against me a couple of times and gave my opponent a huge swing play. Might actually be a good arena pick.
Which cards have you encountered that worked well or failed spectacularly?
I fell into the trap of playing Madder Bomber when the board was equal... He chose to wipe out my 4 health minion and leave the enemy minion in peace. Ah, that RNG.
Does that even work? Shouldnt the deathrattle trigger before the board gets turned into 2/2s?
It was confirmed that Poison Seeds is unique in that it transforms the cards before death rattles resolve... There was a confirmation tweet from Blizard that I can't find just now.
Considering Paladins run Pyro + Equality or Consecrate + Equality this should be viable in some kind of Druid deck. It's one of the new combos I'm excited to try.
True, a few minutes ago i hexed an ancient on the moment he was played. The thing is, how carefully people will play when GvG comes out. There is one situation in the game: Already on turn 1, depending on what hero you're facing, you think about saving that Hex/Polymorph for some specific huge minion of that class or a legendary commonly seen used by then. The twist is, sometimes you are forced to use it on something else that got out of control. If both players are still contesting the board by late game, it means that someone will run out of removals. One big minion after another till one prevails leads me to think about 2 possible outcomes: BGH's will come back or aggro will be the answer, kill then before the need of a hard removal. Still hard to believe in the second option, with many new cards allowing response to aggro.
Very true... I do think Malorne will be in my Druid decks as I try and find a place for it... I just won't be too surprised if I end up chosing other 7 drops over him :)
Seeing the meta get shaken up will be very interesting though.
I think the real issue this card faces is being a 7 drop... What other 7 drop do you replace to fit him in? My most played deck is a ramp/taunt Druid and I run 2 of both ancients!
I'll certainly be putting him in my deck when I get the card to experiment but I don't think there's an easy place for him to fit in.
You don't need 2 ancients of war. 9/7 "can't be killed and wastes an opponent's removal" is way better than 5/10 taunt.
I'm not so sure... You may be right if the meta changes but as my deck is quite slow the first ancient is usually a target for whatever hard removal my opponent has been saving. Around 60-70% of the time my first ancient gets silenced/hexed/polymorphed and when I lay down the second one on turn 8 it usually stops my opponent in his/her tracks which gives me a turn or 2 to gain board control or do some major damage. Malorne has great stats and text, I'm just not sure if I can lose the huge wall that the AoW provides!

Your point is valid in a certain way but is blatantly wrong in another way. Yes there are a lot of cards which are weak to silence but when you look at the Mana Tide Totem you mentioned yourself there are quite a few differences. First of all it's a 3 drop thus it's cheaper to dump on the board and has an immediate effect right after being played - the card that is drawn.
Bolvar Fordragon however is a 5 drop it's a significantly higher investment of resources and unlike the totem it has no effect on the board after being dropped. If it gets silenced right away it's a 1/7 which pretty much is a dead body on the field against many decks since the 1 attack stat is pretty horrible and doesn't trade well.
Now this alone would STILL not make it a bad card there are many legendaries which are weak to silence or hard removal even though it might not be as cruical as in this case. However Bolvar has another HUGE downside of being extremely situational simply because of it's effect. It needs to remain in hand for several turns and it has to be "fed" with dying minions in order to even become a viable drop and after that all the other weaknesses kick in.
There's already a thread made about this. I understand you might not've seen it since the forums are flooded with new discussions for every single card that's been released yesterday.
Ah, hadn't seen it. Mods can close this if they want then.
With so many GvG cards being released, what combos are you looking forward to trying out come release day?
I like the idea of a Blingtron 3000 + Harrison Jones combo although it won't be consistent at all. If you can pull it off though it would be a huge swing play!
Have you guys seen any potential combos you want to try?
Webspinner adds from the entire pool of beasts. however it does not add cards that can only be summoned by the bi-product of another card. so in Druid of the Claw case, it will not be added because the base card is not changing and you cannot get the beast forms. you can get Gahz'rilla and Malorne though since they are beasts
It'll be interesting to see if that's the case... GvG seems like it's really shaking things up and it also seems to be making Hunter an even stronger hero. As a druid player I might actually cry if an enemy Hunter pulls a Malorne against me!
I think we can assume this is the case. We know that Blingtron 3000 pulls from the entire pool of weapons, there's no reason Webspinner should be any different.
This probably will be the case, just didn't know if anything official had been put out. Seems like every beast card now added to the game is a slight buff to Hunters running Webspinner.

I picked Druid of the Fang in my first few picks hoping to pick up beasts through the draft... Didn't get any and had to play him as a 4/4.

I'm not sure what kind of deck it currently fits into but I think it's great AoE removal. Certainly worth trying out!

This... Couldn't put it better.

Looks interesting... It's hard to evaluate mill decks as they've never really been successful before and we don't even know if they'll work after GvG!
It's certainly worth trying to make one work though :)

Very useful... I pretty much only play Druid so having these is a nice resource. Will you be updating for GvG?

Thanks SanderKoeman... Just another reason to hate Hunters :)
Great signature btw!
