Miracle Rogue isnt seen so much in Wild so there is only Nzoth Rogue and new in a few days Thief Rogue. Maybe try some constructed deck with Reno and Nzoth/Cthun.

Thief Rogue is a myth.  Tried it out, but it pales in comparison to raptor/deathrattle rogue.  I really wanted it to work - maybe it could with a better deck list, but I am pronouncing it DOA.
There is some room for swashburglar and evil funnel cake salesman in raptor rogue, but if you try to go overboard with the thief cards you seem to be giving up on more valuable cards for those mana spots.
Fun concept - i hope I am wrong

Not crazy about journey below.  The 2-3-4 drops are so clutch and honestly getting more deathrattles is not super high on my list - the few times when play and needed n'Zoth I am more worried about getting the right deathrattles back instead of having enough.  If you like journey below, but don't care about the rattle, why not sub for swashburglar because it gives a card back and puts something on the board.  He's my only 1-drop (1x)

If I drew it i would be too tempted to keep it and that puts me at risk of not having a rattle to raptor.

I really like the Baron - I dusted him previously but had enough to buy him back.  will see how it goes.

I also really like bran and 2X shadowcaster with this deck.  shadowcaster works so many ways

This deck looks like it runs a big risk of running out of steam.  Too front-heavy.

Agreed - if you get a free murloc, why not finley?  And with the possibility of getting lifetap or something situational in mid to late game it makes sense to keep him.  Don't forget you can hit hero power, then finley, the a new hero power in one turn to conserve cards.

    Quote from Vyr1611 >>

The dr X memes are not funny anymore, stop that !

Or put ff X for each op card (because let's face it the 7/7 turn 7 can't compete with the 7/7 turn 4). Or better just stop these memes.

Apart from that pretty good list although some rankings seem a bit.. wild like midrange n'zoth pally in t4 just WTF this thing is t2 at worst. BTW Eater of secrets < Kezan Mystic especially vs mage and hunter so mentionning eater only and no kezan to counter to freeze mage was a bit off.

Zoo isn't that oppressive I have seen one zoo in 3 seasons. Best decks benefit a lot from wild cards, zoo doesn't get that much benefit and suffers vs increased board clears, taunts and heals. I would put it probably in t3 (4 tier system below)

Even vs secret pally Kezan is okay not as good as eater ofc but you can steal shit like avenge as early as t4.

    - Mech shaman isn't that horribly bad. T6 wtf ????? I guess you haven't seen a mech mage in a while, because it still HURTS. I would put it upper tier 3 in the 4 tier system proposed below.

    - Beast druid is a standart thing, horrible in wild because there are midrange decks with way better curves and win cons that sticking a vanilla 5/5 with stealth at turn 5 and using a menagerie warden at turn 6. Tier 3 deck (4 tier system). No comeback mechanics (swipe not enough) and you can't go over most midrange decks. Maybe you can go under some control decks with a ridiculous start but apart from that it's a loose-loose situation. Also lightbomb says hi to your three 5/5 at turn 6

    - Freeze mage sounds pretty good till you realize that you will loose 95% if they have eater and 100% if they have kezan mystic. Oh and you loose 95% to control warrior and control priest isn't that great of a MU anymore... You also loose to ridiculous agro decks if they have a perfect start.. Maybe I'm just pointing the bad side of the picture but freeze mage is not that great for laddering consistently in wild. Even pre standart era it was better as a tournament deck then for ladder. Okay on ladder you will get many free wins against random board centric decks that don't have secret hate teched in. Yet freeze only looses mad scientist in standart and other people loose much more like kezan, healbot, loatheb I don't see any point at playing freze in wild tbh. Atm I've even seen flares in midrange hunters so they will also shit on you. And I put a kezan in all my non hunter midrange decks so bye bye freeze mage :s

Also I would advise reducing the number of tiers to 4 at most because right now 6+ unrefined (=7 tiers) is just too many.

t1 : most dominating decks that can easily crush most of the ladder

t2 : strong decks, maybe not the best but can be teched to counter t1 decks

t3 : viable decks part of the meta

t4 : unrefined or gimmicky decks

     since when is the Doctor a 7/7, last i counted 1/1 + 7/7 = 1/1 = 9/9 in stats
FF also comes with an overload cost which usually does not get offset by overload buffs or unlock.  FF is no Dr. Se7en.
Also, MC and Tirion have been called Dr 6 and Dr 8 since public beta! (sarc.)

"Yogg is relatively weak in power level for nearly every class at every level, but is slightly above average in 2 decks – Tempo Mage and Token Druid"

then how bout instead of nerfing yog you nerf tempo mage and token druid ?

"I don't think Yogg is dead. It's not a huge nerf."

consistently kills or polymorphs himself ever time he is played

When he is really charged up he will clear the board (including of himself AND THEN build your side back up with Call of the wild or a few other spells that summon minions.  This is definately a considerable nerf, but he might still live in competitive play some.

I disenchanted Prince Malchezaar as soon as I unlocked it.

I lied, I disenchanted right after crafting the Golden Version

Prince Malchezaar totally tips your hand.  The opponent knows 1) there is a good chance you are playing control heavy, 2) your deck is not put together enough that getting random cards is going to alter your strategy (i.e. lots of value for values sake - probably not a combo deck, probably a fairly traditional tried and true deck build otherwise, nothing exotic with lots of dependencies built into the card selection - aka you will be able to identify your opponents entire deck quickly and tailor your strategy accordingly while he will not necessarily be able to do the same against you), and 3) that you are hyper scared of mill decks, of which there are exactly zero left because of this card.

His stats are fine, but he is a 5 drop that is not likely to otherwise change the game more than the 5 RNG cards he gives you.  THat is a steep price for tipping your hand ON TURN ONE!  Enjoy your golden telegraph machine!

The criticisms you have of the card are correct.  I like using it in reno decks in wild when I get tired of grinding the same decks in ranked standard.
It also made the Top 3 brawl very fun as I went through each class countering as many decks as I could at the same time. Lifetapping a Coldlight, Innervate, Natualize druid was the best feeling BM ever.
well put, that sounds awesome.  I played with and against many of those coldlight-innervate-naturalize decks and I cant imagine the satisfaction of being able to tap against it - even once.  Well played.
Mind you I wouldn't dust him or most of the other legends in my primary account, but my throwaway I just want to get a few really good really competitive decks and to hell with the idea of keeping everything just incase - just in case if for my primary account.
In my primary it took me a while to dust a golden Nozdormu, but i eventually did - i mean 1600 gold to use for any legend i want?  are you kidding me?  Nozdormu was fun to use a few times, but I want any legends or epics to have at least some legitimate competitive playability - if only for tavern brawls - especially if they are golden, don't care about the bling.

Well, now that everyoe has chimed in with either None, or (some probably jokingly - all) can we start the real discussion?  Lets assume you WANT the dust and want to keep all of the most useful and playable cards (including for random tavern brawl rules).

What Cards get the axe if dust is of high utility for you (or you have a throwaway account which doesn't require a second full collection).

I personally laugh inside everytime i see that malchazeer drops his five legends into a deck and would consider dusting him.

For 400 dust I could have either a second lock and load or a second call of the wild for my yogg and load deck for my throwaway account.  Convince me that malchazeer is worth keeping.  Or for that matter the curator or medivh.  I try to have a few core decks on my throwaway account so cards like the curator that you would have to build a deck around are totally unwanted.  And I will not be dusting them on my primary account so I would still have them if i wanted to try them just for fun.

BTW I love that he is in the meta to doom mill decks and make more people think that warrior is good.

Can we make this a serious discussion now on the assumption that you have a throwaway account or "REALLY NEED" the dust to make a Yogg and load deck complete?

(Also good idea to dust book worm just to prevent yourself from thinking he's good and accidentally putting him in any deck)

posted a message on Is Karazhan Pushing Standard to 100% Aggro?

I am mobile and I like the long game.  my fav decks are nzoth reno cthun rogue and jaraxxus renolock.  i just hate going to fatigue against warriors who I usually beat in fatigue anyway with those decks.

Control is way more fun and requires skill - aggro is lighter on decisions beyond the deck build.

Everyone thought that GODS was gonna favor control decks because of the abundance of control cards - in reality it created an insane zoo-shaman meta (not that zoo was new).

This could have the opposite effect where despite the lack of many control cards, control gets a boost because of non-obvious reasons.

BTW has anyone seriously examined what the loss of blackrock is going to do to the meta?  My aformentioned decks are gonna miss thaurissan.

posted a message on Reno double c'thun to rank 5 [84%]

    Let me get this straight.

Turn 8 Shadowcaster on Brann, who didn't get his effect because he was killed on opponents turn more than likely, then you must've gone second to have a coin to afford brann + c'thun to play the combo.

isn't this a hyper-situational and somewhat inefficient combo?

I prefer the nZoth variant where you can shadowcaster or shadowstep da'Zoth to great effect. NZoth/Cthun/Reno Rogue has some pretty sick combos that are a little easier to pull off.  The inclusion of Sylvannis and Thaurisan ensure that combos are easy to attain and insane in effect.

(drop a spell on your own 1 mana sylvy to kill it and make a cheap steal followed by NZoth that brings back two 5/5 sylvys)

But that deck is a little more volitile in the early game maybe.

This deck and the n'Zoth variant are definately the most fun you can have playing rogue.  Reminds me of how renolock is the most fun warlock deck - with similar late game mechanics (similar in that you can end up with lots of cards and an opponent that cannot reasonably respond even when it is control-vs-control matchup.

    Kudos for the deck.
