     exactly banning arcanite reaper is fine on my book, banning somethin like c'thun which is pretty much the reason people would play a different deck, isn't cool at all.
     Seriously man. You think I was talking about Arcanite Reaper? There are non legendary cards that make deck types exist. Freeze mage and Patron warrior got carried by non legendary cards.
    On top of that, if your deck runs a lot of legendaries you can basically guarantee cards getting banned.

    You might want to save your posts for the salt thread because in normal threads you look like you have no clue what you're talking about. Some of the best decks in the game right now are midrange. 3 of them are in Tier 1 and 2. Just because you haven't played a deck doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

    I think if targets all murlocs, it should be at least 4/4 and will be used a lot in murlocs decks. heck even a 1/1 with that flexable effect on multiple murlocs is strong for 4 mana!

    The first Shaman might differ a bit from the second Shaman, and the first pirate warrior may differ from the next dragon warrior. However, that doesn't mean these decks don't share at least half of the cards.

     Doesn't matter, any class with good amount of variety in their cards can have multiple archetypes that may or may not share cards. Pirate warrior is much more similar to aggro shaman than it is to control warrior.
    Any ideas to "improve matchmaking" should not be suggested for ranked mode. The only good improvements in that area are to make people closer in ranks play each other. This system will arbitrarily put into matchups you didn't design your deck around. What if I made a deck to counter the meta? Oh well fuck me because the meta found out I played against it too much. This would be a nightmare at top 100 ranks. Ranked mode should match you with people near your rank. That's it. Otherwise the whole idea of a ranked system goes out the window.
    If you want to suggest your idea for casual mode go for it though.
    Please don't try to back up your idea by using people's discussions about the meta. Completely missing the target. Those people want a balanced game, not a game that fixes the bad meta by taking you out of it. This is a really bad idea for ranked mode. I'm sorry man. I hope other people will convince you but I've said my piece. It doesn't look like you really understand ranked mode and just want to have fun. I get that but then maybe you shouldn't take ranked mode seriously.

    Rewarding almost exclusively Priest/Warriors and non-warlock aggro decks? Nope.

     It heavily rewards decks in general for the wrong things. Health isn't the only thing that shows whether you are winning. That's one of the most common new player mistakes when they do things like throw fireballs to the face.
    This is a terrible idea that shows the op's lack of understanding of the game.

    I'm going to miss having a new adventure to play this year.  I like the PvE challenges, especially the heroic challenges.  And I agree with @knechtbd - with the spreadout release of adventures, you get people actually trying to incorporate the new cards a few at a time for several weeks, instead of an immediate burst of 130 cards in which the weaker cards are weeded out pretty much immediately.

     Going to miss the content that's not leaving? They are going to put adventure type content into expansions.
