So now we have to buy Runestones just to play a tavern brawl?
Am I asleep? Is this a joke?
Pay for an expansion! Ok,
Pay for a tavern brawl? Wtf?
He’s really good with guessing Murdock Holmes correctly which definitely gives him an edge.
How does Murloc Holmes work exactly?
Is it 1st clue - Something from their opening hand?
2nd clue - Something in their current hand?
3rd clue - Something in their deck?
Played the first 2 minutes on an iPad.
Had an instruction that the device needs to be held with two hands for the rest of the game.
Lit a cigarette, took a sip of wine, and deleted.
What a chore!
Thank you so much. It must have been a paladin after all! I’d never seen the deck played before, so it intrigued me!
Can any card knowledgeable folks help me? I was playing casual yesterday against a Druid in either Wild or Duels, don’t remember which.
They played a spell that set all of the minions in their deck to cost 3, with 3 attack and 3 health.
By turn 3 they were knocking out ‘mini ragnoros’ etc.
How was this achieved?
So for the last 3 days, I’ve had a daily quest that asks me to earn 40 honour.
No matter what I play, be it battlegrounds, standard, tavern brawl or wild, it doesn’t change. Do I need a certain card in my deck? Or is this a Duels/Mercanaries thing?
“I absolutely love it, it’ll probably be my main mode as long as it keeps getting new content. I know devs mentioned they plan to add new stuff every patch, like BGs, so that’s promising.
Grinded through a bunch of pve and really enjoyed the minute to minute gameplay. Board not super visually interesting but strategically there’s a lot going on. Pvp I haven’t gone too much into except for the daily chest, but I doubt that will be my focus.
As far as P2W fears, it’s incredibly generous. Just 900 gold for a fully upgraded village, so cheaper than BGs even. With one preorder bundle and the packs you get for free, I have 44/51 mercs. I imagine it will be pretty easy for everyone to get a full merc collection fast, after that you are just grinding for the upgrades. Seems to be a matter of finding a mission that gives the coins you want and then just going in on it.
Plenty of content here if people really like progression, leveling up and putting together different comps. Made a dragon/fire comp that was okay, and a pure demon comp that is very strong.”
Alright Activision Bot, with your one post here.
So glad you’re enjoying it! The rest of us are just bored, confused and pissed off.
This is what standard was all about this year? Getting us ‘prepped’ for this?
It’s like a tavern brawl that I’d pass on for a free pack. The team that came up with this need sacking,
I have more exciting games on my steam account that I’ve yet to play.
Everybody plays different decks. You face players with different skill levels. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.
These are all variables in your games...you know what never changes? The person piloting your deck.
When you stop blamming "bad luck" for your lack of ability to make correct decisions and read the meta you are on, maybe your will achieve your goal.
Of animated pixels on a screen beating other animated pixels on a screen?
You need new goals if they are your goals in life mate.
Take a breath. It’s not real. Remember that.
Look at all those colourful pixels on a screen. Just pixels. And your dick got hard when you saw them? You’re even still proud of it now.
Mate, we all love the game, but you need to open your front door and step outside.
What you just did suggests you need help.
Address what’s really wrong with your life. Winning a Tavern Brawl 100,000 times won’t fix it.
I mean this from a place of kindness!
The current tavern brawl (top 3) has highlighted to me how many players still utilise the exploit that prevents animation times from effecting their turn.
Sometimes I’ll meet an honest Rogue, who can cycle through 4 cards in their deck 2 or 3 times.
Then I get a few (like the one I just played) who can cycle through their entire deck, which takes 2 minutes. I beat them with poison Murloc, so I’m not salty, but it makes me wonder about ladder?
How many players are so serious about winning a match that they employ these techniques? Last time it was highlighted was the Warlock deck. But now, it’s a Tavern Brawl deck?
Is life that bad for some people they need to do that?
“Play this card and it burns the top card of your opponents deck”
”Play this card to transform all minions on the board into different ones”
”Play this card to swap the top card of your deck with your opponents”
“Play this card to make your opponent draw 8 cards”
”Play this card to make everything disappear...as if it never existed. Cast a random spell next time that might kill you”
”Play this card to maybe have a go at killing one of you. One of you will be dead, we just don’t know who”
Wish I was joking too!
3 legendaries in 81 packs.
I’d say they’ve screwed us over and altered the pity timer for legendaries. I’ve never started an expansion as poorly as this. Almost every pack was 4 commons and rare. They got me 1400 dust. 😟
I have no interest right now in playing the game, never mind paying for 50 more packs.
I think this is me done. Life’s too short. We could all be on ventilators within 2 weeks. Who honestly cares which person on a ventilator got legend? What’s the point anymore? 😔
