Well, would ya look at that? That hasn't happened in like a year for me! What're the odds of that happening, legit? and neither of them are ones I had before, and I have a lot!

Bitch, when aggro chills, I'll be a trillionaire and hell will have frozen over.

After at least a year, I finally got to rank 10 again! Above, even, to rank 8! That's a big accomplishment for me!

posted a message on The five best and worst treasures in my opinion

There are a ton of treasures, and of course with the sheer amount of them, there are guaranteed to be a couple of duds, as well as a couple of super powerful ones.  Here are my top 5 best - and worst - dungeon run treasures. Note I'm focusing on the playable cards - not the passives, which are much more situational.

    BEST:

Honorable Mention: Wax Rager: this baby is a 5/1 with the un-nerfed dreadsteed's effect. You know how with dreadsteed, you basically get a ping every turn? With this, you get a full-on smack every turn. The only downside is that it doesn't save you if you're already losing - unlike most of the following cards.

#5: Wand of Disintegration: This one's just flat-out reliable tech. Guaranteed enemy board clear for a premium price. Stops even the biggest boards in their tracks and even has a cool animation - even though it's clearly an ARROW, not a WAND. oops.

#4: Primordial Wand: In the number 4 spot is the 4-cost spell which adapts a minion at least 4 times! With this you basically turn any minion into galvadon, and can give it any number of useful abilities depending on the situation you're in - from a spell-immune +3/+3 with Taunt, to a windfury with +6 attack and temporary stealth.

#3: Gloves of Mugging: This card seems simple, but its effect is ridiculously powerful. It not only obliterates your opponent's tempo (almost even more than Orb of Destruction) but gets you 3 free cards - no matter what those cards are, they're still fuel for you to keep on fighting. All this for just 1 paltry mana - what a deal!

#2: Wish: I love the flavor of this card, with the most powerful spell in DnD's history being represented with one of the most broken cards in Hearthstone's History.  Fully heal your hero AND fill your board with uber-minions? I take this every single time it's offered, just because it's so freaking awesome. The only reason it's not number 1 is because of its expensive price tag.

#1: Shifting Hourglass: You know how the mage's quest reward is completely fucking broken? Well at least it only works in a couple of deck archetypes. This card works in ALL deck archetypes, AND is dirt cheap in the later half of the game. I really think people underestimate the value of having an EXTRA FUCKING TURN. And yet, it still only just saves you versus some of the bosses. Wow.

    (relatively) WORST:

Honorable Mention: Bag of Coins: People may disagree with me on this one, but this card is just bad. Yeah, it can ramp you up awesomely, but only for as many cards as there are in your hand, and only for one or two turns - plus you may end up milling some cards. It's just not that good compared to other cards.

#5: Blade/Hilt of Quel'delar: Now, admittedly, the reward for somehow getting both pieces of this is completely freaking broken, especially against the darkness. However, the odds of you getting both pieces are astronomical, and in the meantime, each card, while good, is again, mediocre compared to many other potential treasures.

#4: Vorpal Dagger: While I do like the flavor of this card, and its effect can be decently powerful, it also requires you to slam your face into (presumably) four big minions. While you do destroy them, the raw damage you can take from this weapon is simply unacceptable unless you have the double-health passive. Compare this to wand of disintegration, is all I'm saying.

#3: Bag of Stuffing: This one, again, can be good in the right situation. However, I really think people underestimate the fact that it draws a shitton of cards from your deck. Unless you're confident the boss will go down in the next couple turns, this card can majorly screw you over as it pushes you way closer to fatigue and, if you play it at the wrong time, you may even mill a card or two by your next turn.

#2: Mask of Mimicry: Having a hand full of Ragnaros may seem like a good idea in theory, but actually putting it into practice is difficult. with this card, you're basically losing all diversity you have in terms of minions, in exchange for just one minion you can play a bunch of times. Honestly this one's situational depending on what minion you pick, but you're still killing all minions in your hand for one minion, no matter how many times you can play it. Not to mention, if the minion's expensive, you kinda screw yourself over - but if it's cheap, you may not get enough impact out of the card and burn all the minions in the hand.

#1:Greedy Pickaxe: I used to have loyal sidekick here, but after some convincing from the comments, I decided to change it to greedy pickaxe. I mean, seriously, pickaxe sucks. It's 2 mana crystals and a fiery war axe. That's it. Compare that to many of the other cards, and you'll see just how inferior it is compared to many other cards.

What do you guys think are the five best and worst cards? Let me know what you think, and why you think my opinions are wrong!
