Everyone seems to be hating on HIr'eek because only two warlock handbuff cards have been revealed at this point. People. Have you seriously forgotten what they did with warrior in boomsday? They introduced pretty much an entirely new archetype for the class and made it into a relatively stable new aspect. Do you really think that Hir'eek and the totem are the only two handbuff cards? I'm betting dollars to donuts that at least two or three other cards in the warlock kit this time around are related to hand buffing. Like seriously, you think they'd just release a legendary with almost zero support? You guys really are underestimating all this in my opinion. Please, have an open mind to it and the other cards in the expansion.

Anyways, as for your ratings... it's literally one fucking day after they revealed the cards. Personally I think that Sprit of the bat and Hizzarak show a lot of potential, especially if other cards in the warlock set are related to hand buffing. I mean does nobody see the true potential with this guy? I'm serious, this is in no way another doctor morrigan - even if it gets only one buff, it's a fucking 14/14 for 8 on an empty board. This is ridiculous. Call me an optimist, but I love these cards and the flavor of this expansion.

Hunter getting a new Hero Card is quite nice because Rexxar's rotation is a huge blow to Hunter's endgame.

Exactly what I was thinking. Everyone complaining about Hunter getting a new hero card, when the old hero card will be gone soon anyways - this is critical step for Rexxar to not revert to his old SMORC-ing ways! We can't let him fall off the bandwagon again!

And we thought the gnome warlock was bad...

Honestly I didn't have grumble so I replaced him and a sandbinder with 2x youthful brewmaster. They work fairly well too, if slower.

 replaced quartz elementals with those 4 mana 1/6 taunt lifesteals - insane synergy with this. also maybe replace chameleos with prince taldaram?

Kills Flametongue Totem and Mana Tide Totem for free. I'm sold.

No word yet on whether it has a cap. The power of Schemes will entirely depend on that.

 Its the Golden Monkey effect (plus Golden Kobold also worked similarly). Very flavorful given Rafaam was originally from LoE AND he is working alongside Toggwaggle now.

I could see this being played as your top end in something like Zoo in the same way that Liam and Rexxar were used. It gives you juice/value in control games.

Or maybe in a control warlock, to convert all your useless cards at the end of the game. Or with Hakkar.

yeah, I don't like it.  it looks nice but the animation happens way too frequently.  

I posted something similar the other day after finding NOTHING about it anywhere online. It is very distracting, I agree. Not only is it lame, it looks like they just transposed the Innervate animation over the portrait.

 Honestly, memes aside. It's actually a garbage edit. The green flashing is up more than half of the time, and obscures Rastakhan way too much. The focus is taken away from the hero and given to the green bois.

I would be like if Nemsy's hero portrait was just the Fen Creeper with Nemsy just barely visible on top. It's a really, really bad edit to a great hero.

It will still be played, the ability is the reason you play it, not the 3 attack. At least the card did not end up like arcane golem and get pretty much deleted thankfully.
