Shaftie posted a message on Spiders in the DarknessPosted in: Spiders in the DarknessI'd consider dropping hallucination for Shiv and adding bloodmage for razorpedal, at least assuming you don't run two auctioneers.
Zola can also bring that Shadowcaster-like effect. Cheaper upfront mana investment for a more expensive and a beefier body down the road.
Without seeing the Darkness in action (and how much draw people are running in the meta) I don't see it fitting here. You'll potentially force your opponent to draw 2 additional cards once per game.
I like the vanish but it's a double edged sword you don't want those free spiders returning to your hand most of the time.
I agree with Sonya, I think her effect, esp when you have the ability to get value by bouncing her back to your hand or creating copies of her has a place with this type of design.
Just musing thou, like you said, it needs play-testing. I've fiddled with a list that's similar and I like the idea of running 3/2 combo draw two minions.
Edit: My statement on The Darkness assumes you can't bounce it to your hand (if you can....wow.....)

Honestly it's kind of hard to replace her, but you can just use a copy of Cabalist Tome or another big body like Ysera.Hope that helps. -

Problems with this deck: too many whirlwinds, heavy hands and slow play (hardly any push potential). You'll often have 10 cards in hand wondering what's the least bad play you can make, hoping your opponent gets to fatigue soon and... oh did you just draw a second acolyte? Yeah...
Relatively fun to play due to Boom and armor calculations, though that fun dries up pretty quickly for the dust cost. It needs an update, or 3. Don't take it personally Kripp love your streams!

I think 2 Vanish is too heavy against like pirate or aggro Druid you don't want them on turn 2... I would recommend trying Doomsayer!
Bonemare is something I've never seen in this deck archetype good idea I guess but too heavy to play with Valeera the Hollow.
You need some healing or more taunt I think so Hallucination can do some work. I don't really like Fan of Knives in this archetype but that's personal preference, I'd rather run Mimic Pod which is a card I've also cut from my lists to be replaced with Eviscerate. 2 Shadowsteps feels really bad with many hands so I run 1, Barnes is interesting in this deck type.
Also a Counterfeit Coin can come in really handy. Just some ideas for you to play around with, and I found Defias Ringleader to be a pretty funny addition and quite a playable one!

Guys has anyone else tried Abomination in your lists? I know it's overall a bad card allowing your opponent to trade however they want with it, but I often found myself overwhelmed by agro druid, bloodlust shaman and hunter. Think about it for a second. When you play it first, your opponent is not expecting some medium-level board clear from rogue. Then when you N'zoth, if you don't have Abomination you need to survive 2 turns for your Swarmers to turn to Jades and then attack. Yikes! With Abomination however, you get them next turn. Plus Aya stays alive with 1 hp. Plus you do another semiclear. In other situations (aka Big Priest) you just sometimes need the taunt. And the quick jades.
Am I crazy?
