TheBeaverKing posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 3.04 [Submission Topic]"Fool! You just summoned Balnazzar!"
Edit: As a clarification, I suppose if he was disguised as something that costs less than 4 while you have less than 4 mana, you wouldn't be able to play him. That's one of the ways to see if Balnazzar is in your hand. If you play something with greater cost than him, the remaining mana is refunded afterwards.

RandomScribbles posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 3.02 [Submission Topic]There are 44 deathrattle minions out there right now. Of those, 9 are bad when inspired, 4 do nothing for a priest, 4 do blanket damage to the board, and the other 27 are some degree of good. Your inspire could summon you a legendary minion (Sneeds) or it could turn you into Ragnaros (Majordomo). It could draw a card or summon a minion for either player. It could shuffle itself into your deck or put itself back into your hand. It can equip an Ashbringer. You get the picture. Casino inspire Priest!

Golden147 posted a message on Class Creation Competition - Worlds Beyond Warcraft [Phase I Submission]Posted in: Fan CreationsEinarr the Alien Overlord
After years of space travel and hardships the alien has become very efficient. Not wanting any energy to go to waste he consumes both his own and his opponents leftover mana to add power to his weapons, abilities and minions. He also uses two new michanics Acid and Overheat
The Alien has braved the edges of space and does not succumb to intimidation. With his hero power he can shut up any minion that steps out of line and deal with them appropriately.
His initial probe takes advantage of his opponents early leftover recourses, or he can save till a later dead turn to ensure maximum efficiency.
He also invokes the use of Acid from his home world, which slowly eat away at the puny natives till death.
Since his hero power does not deal any damage, he boldly goes into battle with his trusty Phaser. However his technology is so powerful it needs a turn to recharge and cool off before using it again (Overheat)
These are some examples of his efficiency in not wanting any mana to go to waste, His power to push his recourses to the limit, till they get Overheated and His a use of his Acid mechanic.
Enjoy!

first thing first, sorry for my bad English.. :)
Indonesia has a unique culture. It's called Wayang Kulit. ‘Wayang’ means ‘shadow’ in Javanese and ‘kulit’ means leather or skin. It's has a lot of characters. so i decide to make it a Class.. :)
let's check it out..
Hero
Bisma
Bisma was born as Dewabrata. He is one of the main Characters on Mahabharata. He is the grandfather of the Pandawa and Korawa. Bisma experts in all modes of warfare, strategist master and highly respected by the Pandawa and the Korawa.
In this Class, His Hero Power is Chakra, which is can give +2 attack to a minion on a turn ( it's because he is a strategist, so he can support minion.. :) ). This Hero Power can be given to friendly minion, or enemy minion (to activate BGH or SW:D).
Minions
Duryodana
In Mahabharata, Duryodana is the leader and the oldest brother from Korawa which has 100 brothers.
so i decide He has a Deathrattle to fill your board with 2/2 Korawa. Same as Onyxia, but Duryodana has a lower stats and can be Silenced, so i make Korawa 2/2.A new keyword is Baladewa. Baladewa became instantly active when a minion summoned on your board. it can be from your hand, or from another minion Deathrattle (The Beast, Piloted Shredder, etc). and, all Korawa's is antagonist btw.. :)Gatotkaca
next, Gatotkaca. He is one of the Protagonist in Wayang Kulit. a new keyword is Baladewa. It can combined with any Deathrattle or token card to make a massive damage.. :)
Supala
Supala was born with 4 arms and 3 eyes. In this card, he has ability to gain Windfury when you activated Baladewa ( because he has 4 arms, so yeah, windfury... :) ). Combined with Chakra and Baladewa, this card can do 8 damage on 1 turn.. :)
so, that's all i have for now.. if you're interested in Wayang Kulit, you can google it yourself.. :)

Edit 1 : Piloted Shreddder -> Piloted Shredder
Edit 2 : Removed token card.

knifelheim posted a message on Class Creation Competition - Worlds Beyond Warcraft [Phase I Submission]Posted in: Fan CreationsI chose to pull from the Warhammer 40,000 universe as I felt it still had that fantasy theme, but brought it from a very different universe with unique themes (and of course, modernized it a bit).
Roboute Guilliman is the favored son of the Emperor himself and is Primarch of the Ultramarines, and the founder of the Codex Astartes.
I didn't stray very far from mechanics already in the game with this class. I based pretty much everything off of cards/effects that are already in Hearthstone, but I re-purposed them in an attempt to make some (hopefully) interesting synergy.
The backbone of the Empire. The Ultramarines are devout warriors that will lay down their lives for the glory of the Emperor.
Nearly unkillable walking death machines. Terminators can shrug off even the mightiest of blows.
Terminators may seem unkillable, but Marneus Calgar is undying. Even the mighty Terminators bow to the Marneus Calgar's ability to shake off even mortal wounds. Second only to Roboute Guilliman's exploits, Marneus Calgar will never stop in his quest to purge the Universe of the enemies of the Emperor.
The class itself is supposed to be made up of minions that are tough to remove (simulating Space Marines being walking tanks) and relies heavily on the inspire mechanic (simulating Space Marine zealotry for the Emprah) and tribe synergy (simulating squad tactics). I started with Ultramarines as they are Guilliman's chapter, but will eventually include characters from the various other prominent Space Marine chapters.
EDIT: fixed hero power description, forgot to state it only lasted for the turn.

A Summary of the Adventure:
Final Boss:
Example Cards:

Good point about Robe of the Magi, but the game already has cards with a permanent positive effect (The Mistcaller, Dreadsteed is close too). Although it is possible that the card is unbalanced (may be spell damage +1 or 10 Mana cost), the idea itself is realistic, i think.
P.S. You forgot about Bloodsail Corsair =)

Lord (Based on Chivalry: Medieval Warfare)
Rest of it:
Throwing Knives: Powershot with alternative distribution of damage.
Long Spear: defend yourself against enemy minions on your opponent's turn, trade your face costly!
Mason Archer: require a big taunt and no AoE for your opponent to be effective.
Buyout: some draw and nice combo with other Peasant-related cards.
Severe Trainig: nice unsilenceable buff, but sadly can be applied only on buffed ones.
Catapult: moar Peasant use.
Capture: Capture + Buyout + trade with peasant = Mind Control. Opie Opie
Deadly Swing: Now Betrayal placement is important!
Onslaught: adequate alternative for Dark Bargain.
Mason Bishop: turn 10 combo that can deal up to 9 AoE damage just with your Peasants + a 4/5 body. Or you can use this Spell Power with other spells and save a Ritual until you have no Peasants for maximum value.

Lord (Based on Chivalry: Medieval Warfare)
Rest of it:
Mason Dreadnought: Just really big Taunt, close to Ironbark Protector. Really usefull in defending your 0 attack minions and Peasants.
Zweihänder: Arcanite Reaper on steroids and with nice effect that perfectly represents in-game version of weapon (teamkiller simulator). If you (or your opponent) have Peasants, it's effect in 7 times out of 10 lands on them, not 100%.
Heavy Kick: 3 mana Sap or a Shadow Bolt, depends on situation. Hints on smart trading with your Peasants (in both cases).
Mason Raider: Some Peasant gain. You need them alot. Better than Razorfen Hunter (usually).
Home Guard Muster: close to Muster for Battle, but it's more control than aggro. Synergy with other class cards.
Peaceful Countryside: moar Peasant gain. Potentially infinite value, but you need to keep it in peace.
Corpse Cart: Mason army used those cards to poison agathian water source. Again, infinite value if you can keep it alive.

Class: Lord
Hero: Malric
Inspiration: Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Inspired by the styling of Mason Order from Chivalry, I created a class builded around combos with tokens from Hero Power, and it is very similar to Paladin. But unlike the Recruits, Peasants used differently. The Peasant use does not imply increasing of their stats, they become weaker and more vulnerable, and taunts a really important. Also your Hero Power is not only way to get more Peasants, your spells and creatures can produce alot. But majority of your cards will offer you a cruel and effective way of using lives of your men. A couple of example cards with more calm and simple use of those ideas:

Yep, another card that changed the color of its character, hello Fist of Jaraxxus and breath of Gahz'rilla. There is just no good pictures of red gyreworms =(
