posted a message on Why The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a better game than Hearthstone

Why should people get butthurt that you enjoy elder scrolls legend more than hearthstone? If you enjoy the game more than Hearthstone than good for you. This thread seems kind of pointless.

posted a message on Anyone else sick and tired of the Classic-Set being Evergreen?

Good cards will always be played and because of the amount of netdecking to find out which cards or decks are strongest in the meta, even if the classic set was rotated out of standard, the cards will simply be replaced with the next best thing and then you will end up getting sick of those cards being played in every single deck again or even the same deck being played over and over again. Even if the sets always rotated it still does not fix the problem. Its like a rotating door, get rid of one thing and something else will take its place. Other card games such as MTG have learnt this lesson, no matter what meta it is, there will always be a dominant deck and if a card is strong enough, there is a chance that it will be used by many decks. It pretty much happens in any card game based on fighting with creatures and reducing the opponents life points to zero.

posted a message on Time to nerf Gadgetzan Auctioneer again

I think any more nerfs to Gadgetzan engineer would effectively kill the card and giving a card the warsong treatment is a horrendous way of nerfing cards. Why nerf a card so badly to the point it is unplayable? I don't know, I am starting to think that If players on hearthpwn had control of nerfing cards, over 50% of all cards would end up getting nerfed to oblivion and we would probably end up with a meta filled with mediocre cards that also risk getting nerfed because people complain whenever they lose to a card or a deck.

I think Hearthstone needs the classic set and the basic set for standard to even be playable to be honest. I think in hindsight creating a standard mode in general may of been a mistake. Mtg has a standard format but the difference between Mtg and Hearthstone is that Mtg releases a lot more cards in a year than hearthstone does.

The recent kaladesh expansion in MTG released 264 cards. To put this into perspective that is almost as many cards as The Grand Tournament and Whispers Of The Old Gods put together. Even their smallest expansion this year, Oath of the gatewatch contains 184 cards which is even larger than any big expansion in hearthstone. Hearthstone in standard feels like their is a limited pool of cards to build decks from, in MTG this is not as much of a problem in their standard format because there are a lot more cards to use, they even did away with their core sets because they already release more than enough cards in each expansion.

The classic set in Hearthstone has around 245 cards which is almost double the amount of cards released in any big expansion. I think if blizzard wants to keep the standard format fresh then they might need to start releasing maybe even around 50+ more cards than they have been releasing in each big expansion, because the game is much more fun when there are more cards to work with. Until they do that then for the standard format to even be playable they need to keep the classic set otherwise there just won't be enough cards to work with to keep standard even remotely interesting.

posted a message on New Card - Kabal Courier (Mages, Priests, and Warlocks)

For people who say "stats to garbage for it to be useful" Remember league of explorers? Never ever underestimate a discover card. Discover is worth three stat points, same with battlecry draw a card. It has fair stats for its cost as a neutral minion.

posted a message on New Card - Second-Rate Bruiser

Actually this is good card. its a 3 mana 4/5 taunt if your opponent over commits. For people who would want it to cost 1 less for each enemy minion, do we really want another thing from below?

Its a 0 mana 7/7. Horrible? Too Slow? Do people actually read what the card says?

posted a message on Puck Faladins - another dumb move by Blizzard

We have literally only seen 4 paladin cards revealed so far and we have not even tested them out. How about you have a little patience and wait until the rest of the paladin cards are revealed before losing your cool? Don't know about you but I want to test these cards out first before making any rash judgements.

posted a message on A little bit disappointed with the new set

At the start of every single expansion there is a thread like this. Going back all the way to gvg. A few cards get revealed, then some guy opens a thread saying "this expansion is lame" despite not even half of the cards being revealed. Threads like these are not new which shows how impatient people are on these forum, I think on one of those threads someone even said that dr boom was a garbage legendary and look how that turned out. People will never learn.  I would say have a bit of patience and wait until we see the rest of the cards in the expansion before passing judgement on an entire expansion when not even half of the cards have even been revealed yet.

I do like the idea of the hand buffing mechanic, however to be fair I do think there are too many cards that do this, instead of maybe about using just 3 or 4 cards that buff your entire hand, there seems to be a bit of an over saturation of cards that do this. However the grimy goons cards that do not simply give hand buffs tend to have interesting effects and the hand buffs even make some cards potentially insane. look at dispatch kodo and dopplegangster, those cards are insane with the buffs and then you also have interesting early game minions like the mistress of mixtures which is a solid anti aggro card and dirty rat which is a strong early taunt with a downside which can end up being an upside if it pulls out a battlecry minion which is useless without its battlecry.

Also the priest cards look very powerful and we have not even seen the warlock or shaman cards yet. Kazakus is very creative and I suspect the other two tri class legendaries will be just as interesting. One thing I will say is that I hope paladin gets a card which really benefits from the buffs like hunter did with the dispatch kodo because they seem to have gotten a lot of the hand buff cards so I hope they do get something that is playable even on its own like the kodo.

posted a message on New Card - Kabal Crystal Runner

This card is going to be just like arcane giant, another card that people said was going to be a bad and now people are calling it broken. it gets a 2 mana discount whenever you play a secret, so if you play just two secrets, you get a 2 mana 5/5 and that is insane. Before people say its too slow, people have been able to play Arcane Giants for 0 mana and that card requires 12 spells in order to get played for free and we all know about Thing from below which is played in almost every shaman deck. Why do people always underestimate these types of cards? I thought people would have learnt from how thing from below and arcane giant turned out? If secret mage ends up being a thing, then you are going to hate this card.
